Elizabeth - can't wait to see photos from your Honeymoon!

Cindy - I also use Fertility Friend when I'm tracking. right now I'm using it just to know when AF is coming since Olivia still isn't STTN and I can't be consistent with tracking temps.

Jessica - Can't wait to see wedding pics, anything you are willing to share ahead of time?

not much news here, was sick with a 24 hour bug yesterday so stayed home but sent the kids to daycare, thank goodness! It's one wonderful perk of working outside of the home!

I have the fertility friend app that I downloaded when I joined this forum because I saw so many people use it. But I have never used it. I have an app called "WomanLog." It just tracks AF mainly and forecasts fertility for you. You can add temps, CM, mood and weight, but I haven't really used those. It doesn't "chart" it for you on a graph like FF...but I'm not planning to chart (at least for awhile).

Mel sorry you got sick, I'm glad you had the daycare option though. A girl I work with just came back from maternity leave...we've been kind of slow so she's been getting off work early. She leaves her daughter in daycare though so she can study.

Sure! We're doing black white and green with a bit of damask print, kind of like this:

    Here's the dress I bought:

We're not super traditional people, but I don't want him to see my dress. We're going to be doing our photos before the ceremony anyways, but I still like the element of surprise. The ceremony is going to be in a beautiful church in Little Italy here in Ottawa, and the reception is going to be at a local golf course. We just want to have a lot of fun, with good food, good music, and we hope our guest have an awesome time too.

For those of you who are married, did you make anything yourselves? I want to take on some DIY projects, but I don't know how much is too much to take on. I'm generally pretty crafty anyways, but I don't want to bite off more than I can chew.

That dress is GORGEOUS, Jessica! The lady that did our rentals had a table set up for another bride in those colors when I went to review my table and I absolutely loved it. It looks so crisp and classic. I can't wait to see your wedding pictures! I bet you're so excited.

Do it yourself... Hrm.. Well, I made my bridesmaids jewelry and hair crystals (I gave it to them as a part of their gift), my tiara, and my flower girl's tiara. Here's a couple pictures of those:

Oh, and my friend recently got married! She decorated the thingy you get married under herself (I can't for the life of me remember what it's called ) and our hair clips. Her grandma made our jewelry:

They actually threw this together the night before:

She just glued the clip to the flower... It looked great!

I'm not very crafty, so the only DIY that I managed was to make the birdseed bags and tied ribbon around the bubbles (we had both... and it worked out funny because the guests took the bubbles and blew them at the reception, and saved the birdseed for when we left... Talk about MESSY!).
I was recently in a friends' wedding where we made the bouquets and boutiners (sp?). She's very crafty, but I was amazed how easy it was.

    Blessed with 2 beautiful girls:
