Ireland. I am very jealous. And way to go on the trip with the parents to help out with costs and the kiddos. Thats an awesome idea!

I am off work this week. So today we just hung out all day it was around 100 out so tried to keep us all in doors. So really slept in since DH is home too. It was a nice relaxing day. Tomorrow my SIL comes to town. And we are meeting up with some long lost cousins. Thats about it for me. But boy, its so nice being home and not at work. Such a nice break!

Sara, sounds like a great day! I hope you enjoy your remaining time off too.

Mel, I love days like that with the kids. It's nice to get them together with others. We did a trip to the aquarium last Friday with our next door neighbor. Her oldest is 6 months younger than my oldest and our youngests are 5 weeks apart. It's nice to have friends like that with kids such similar ages.

It's Wednesday...the week is almost halfway done. I work in a small satelite office and there are just 3 of us, my boss has been out this week working at the main office. It's always quieter, even when busy, when it's just the 2 of us. He's back in the office tomorrow so we are trying to enjoy the last quiet day at work. It's been busy workload wise but still quieter. He just sometimes brings a stressful atmosphere that we don't have otherwise.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Lynn - love when the boss isn't in. You're right, no matter how much you like your boss, they bring more stress in with them!

Stayed home sick today with a tummy bug. Feeling much better now but glad I took the day to recover!

Lurking...Mel just wanted to stop in and say that I'm sorry your DD broke her little arm. Poor thing. Hope it heals fast.

Miss you ladies! The TTC board is somewhat slow.

Thanks Elizabeth! She's doing well with it! Your chart is looking promising! I hope this is your month!

It seems like all the boards are slow this summer. Boo!

okay, so I'm mentally freaking out a bit tonight! I've started myself on a diet to lose 20lbs in 12 weeks and so far day 1 went well! LOL But it's becoming more real to me that we will be TTC in three months! Holy Heck - how did I get here!

    Hey ladies!!
The TTC board used to be the place to be back when I first joined. Now alot of people hop the BB so maybe check those out?
Today tommy turned 2! Its so hard to believe. Question for those mamas on here since my BB is slow... anyone hire a sleep trainer ever?? Thinking of doing it for us, since it just took me AND Dh about an hour to get tommy to sleep- this is becoming the new norm for us. Just curious what feed back anyone else might have

hmmm, no sleep trainer here. What have you tried so far and what do you think the biggest issue is? Also what time are you trying to get him to go to bed and how long does he sleep when he goes to bed?

It takes my kids about an hour to wind down in their beds before they actually fall asleep. they get books and some blocks in their beds and talk/sing as well. I don't care much because I am cleaning up from dinner etc. That's just what works for our family though.
