Kinda gross TMI stuff

So a few days ago DH and I were DTD he pulled out just as I was getting ready to "you know". He felt bad so he wiped it off really good and then we started to DTD again until I "you know" Well I'm pretty sure I ovulated that day or the day before because my O pains were outta this world and I had a ton of EWCM. Anyway as usual I'm kinda freaking out a bit. It's the first time we have ever done the wipe it off thing. I'm guessing my chances of pregnancy are pretty slim. What do you ladies think?

Well, my DH and I have been doing the "pull & pray" method since 2007 and no surprises yet. I don't think you have anything to worry about since he tried to get all of it off. I know it makes it more risky since you were ovulating, but I still wouldn't be too worried.

Hmm...I agree with pp. I think your chances are pretty small but I guess only time will tell Wink

I agree. Unlikely. DH and I have also practiced that method and no surprises here. Unless he's got a determined couple of suckers in there-in which case it was probably meant to be :O)

I'd agree slim, but there are sperm in the little bit of stuff that leaks out before a man "you knows." So it is definitely possible to get pregnant, wiping or no wiping. I know this from personal experience, BTW. But still, unlikely.

Thanks ladies! We've been using withdrawal now with no problems for over 2 years. I still worry every cycle. but I guess I was just freaking out more because we've always been very strict about not putting it back in after he ejaculates. I just worried that even with the wiping there would still be like 1 sperm that would find his way in. ROFL It's ridiculous really. And I'm feeling a lot better about it now, thanks to time and you wonderful ladies! Biggrin

We've been using withdrawal for 4 years now. And it seems lately that we always DTD the days I'm ovulating (I don't keep track of ovulation, but around cycle day 14 or so). We haven't had any wipe off and start again scenarios, but I'm sure you are ok. I also worry/wonder every cycle if I could be preggers, but nope, no such luck.
