Name & Age: Erin, the mighty 30
DH/SO Name & Age: Izzy, 33
Kids names & ages: Teagan Tesla, just shy of 21 months

Why do you want another/a child: I like even numbers and I think Teagan will approve
Do you enjoy pregnancy, why or why not: NO. Ok, I don't enjoy the first 20-23 weeks when I'm nauseous as hell and can't eat anything without blowing chunks. After that its pretty fun because the baby is active. Then the hugeness sets in. I could do without the hugeness.
What are you looking forward to the most regarding pregnancy or the newborn state: Smelling and smooching all over a sweet little bald noggin'
What age children do you like the most (newborn, infant, toddler, school age, etc.): I don't really know many children older than my DD and I have little experience dealing with them in general. I think pre-school kids are ridiculously cute and they're potty trained and less likely to want to hang off your boobs. They sound like fun.
What age children do you struggle with the most (or think you will struggle with the most): This toddler business is challenging. Teagan was a super easy newborn by newborn standards. I think we're handling it well though and everyone tells us she's as sweet as can be but MAN is it a lot of work to remain calm and collected while she's being completely irrational. I feel like my tolerance for noise and messes has increased exponentially along with my patience.

Hobbies: I bike quite a bit. Mostly commuting the 10 miles to school (and back when its not 1000 degrees out). I want to start racing some day. Some day being after grad school.
Pets: 2 dogs 2 cats, too much furr
General location where you live: Tucson, AZ
Favorite Time of Year: Not summer
Favorite Holiday: Halloween, especially now that I have a kiddo and an excuse to go trick or treating again!
Favorite TV shows: Currently its Game of Thrones, Sons of Anarchy, the Tudors, and Gordon Ramsey cooking shows. I'm annoyed that the seasons have wrapped up and I'm forced to do actual work in the evenings. I'm also a HUGE Battlestar Galactica fan and I was suuuuuper bummed when they canceled Caprica.
Favorite Movies: The Princess Bride is my fave of all time.
Favorite Books: I'm a big fan of Stephen King when I'm reading for guilty pleasure. I read his Dark Tower series, all 7 books, in about a year. And they are monstrously long books. They're supposedly coming out with a movie or TV version and I think I'll pee my pants when it comes out. Or die of disappointment.

What age children do you like the most (newborn, infant, toddler, school age, etc.): newborn/infant. DS would go to anyone as a baby and we have entered the super clingy stage. I love that he is talking and gives hugs and kisses.

DH/SO Name & Age: Jon, 39

Kids names & ages:Elise, 2.5 and Hannah, 15 months

Why do you want another/a child: I'm still not sure I do. Wink

Do you enjoy pregnancy, why or why not: I love pregnancy, I feel blessed to experience it and I am so amazed at what my body is capable of. I don't get sick, so that is a big bonus. I will say that the second time around was much harder, but my pregnancies were close and my body was still recovering from the first go round.

What are you looking forward to the most regarding pregnancy or the newborn state: I love feeling a baby move inside of me and giving birth is such an amazing experience.

What age children do you like the most (newborn, infant, toddler, school age, etc.): I love from about 6 months to 18 months the most. They are more interactive and still very sweet. I do love the communication that comes with the toddler stage.

What age children do you struggle with the most (or think you will struggle with the most): My 2.5 y/o is super awesome and emotionally exhausting all at once. She does not listen and that makes me absolutely crazy.

Hobbies: I love to golf and ride my bike, both of which I rarely do since having kids. We hike a fair bit and I love Zumba! Smile

Name & Age: Lynn, 35
DH/SO Name & Age: Ken, 38
Kids names & ages: Colin, will be 4 on July 31st & Ryne, 15 months

Why do you want another/a child: always envisioned a larger family...I agree with Jordan, 2 isn't enough Smile
Do you enjoy pregnancy, why or why not:I do love feeling the baby move and knowing a little life is growing in there. I find that to be very cool but I really have a hard time functioning for the first 20 weeks or so between nausea and exhaustion.
What are you looking forward to the most regarding pregnancy or the newborn state:I think my favorite part of pregnancy is birth. I love cuddling a newborn.
What age children do you like the most (newborn, infant, toddler, school age, etc.):based on my experience so far, I love 6 to 18 months for the development and the cuteness. 18 months to about 2.5 was fun too for the language development.
What age children do you struggle with the most (or think you will struggle with the most): I really can't even envision future struggles yet, like when they are elementary school age or teenage. I have struggled the most with age 3 so far. I didn't think much of terrible twos. I think late 2 into 3 is really when I saw the switch between thowing a fit because of being tired or hungry to having a fit to control me or DH. I think there is some of that at 2 but it still seems a little more innocent to me. But 3 has been much more about deliberately disobeying and/or scheming to get their way.

Hobbies:
Pets: 1 cat, her name is Fez
General location where you live: East TN
Favorite Time of Year: I like something about each...I'm always ready for the next season about the time it's due to arrive. I guess I'd say Spring if I have to pick. I love when everything is in bloom and the temperature is not to cold or not too hot.
Favorite Holiday: Christmas
Favorite TV shows: I don't watch much these days but I used to be a big HGTV fan and I still try to catch Sarah Richardson anytime she's on. I love Sarah's House and Sarah 101. But, it takes a while for her new seasons to get to us from Canada. I don't know why HGTV, USA side can't get the programs faster.
Favorite Movies: I don't really have a single favorite movie...I like action and comedies and especially romantic comedy. 50 first dates was one of my favorites too (saw that listed by PP)
Favorite Books: I am not a big reader. I like to read but don't have much time for it and am not compelled by the desire enough to fit it in.

Why do you want another/a child: Is saying that it just feels like the right thing to do acceptable? I really can't explain it, I feel like this is what I'm supposed to be doing right now. I had a great childhood, about to marry the man I love, and want to start a family yesterday!
