Thanks Sarah-Jean ! Hope everything works out for you too.

    Hi Mel ! Thanks.

I've been lurking and checking up on you on the birth boards. I hope that you get your BFP soon. I know how frustrating TTC can get when it takes longer than expected. Maybe we'll get to share another birth board. That would be fun !

Hi pico (sorry don't know your real name lol),

I think I recognize your screen name from the December '07 BB. I was on the Nov '07 BB and used to lurk on Oct and Dec as well.

We get the same comments. I think 2 kids is just the norm and people are shocked when you have more than that. I think my family worries about me as well which is why they are less enthusiastic about us having more. My first pregnancy was a little rough. I was sick a lot and bled throughout the first trimester and I had issues with high blood pressure which turned into pre-e at the end. My second pregnancy was better. My blood pressure was a bit of an issue again and my fluid levels were high so I was induced at 38 weeks. My little guy was facing the wrong way and I ended up with a c-sec. after a long labor. I think family was just worried about the same issues happening again with another pregnancy, so that is why they were less than enthusiastic when we announced #3 was on the way. This time though, I was more informed and a lot healthier. I started the pregnancy 15 lbs lighter and consulted with a Naturopath throughout my pregnancy. She had me drinking RRL tea and Nettle tea and taking fish oil. I had a text book perfect pregnancy with no health issues whatsoever and I had an easy and quick natural VBAC. I felt so great I couldn't wait to do it all over again. lol

Do you get the girl comments too ? Some people were like "aaah that's too bad" when baby #3 turned out to be a boy, and of course we get the "are you going to try for a girl" comments. As if the reason I want more is because I am dying for a girl. I would love a daughter for sure, but I have never been disappointed not even for a second, to have 3 boys. I love being a mommy and couldn't care less if I end up with a dozen boys.

Yeah, I've been around since the Dec 07 board. I definitely get the girl comments all the time. I used to want a girl, but I'm thrilled with a pack of boys and would love more of the same.

I get hyperemesis with my pregnancies which makes the first 4 months unbearable. With all except my first I said I'd never do it again. Then I go through low BP for a few months and have to be very careful not to faint. The third tri is actually my best. I tend to breeze through it. I was even mostly comfortable right up until 41w with DS4. My births have been great. I'm never up again right after, but my body has no trouble getting the babies out. The only really dangerous issue I've ever had was placenta previa this past time which barely moved enough at the last minute for a vaginal delivery. It was scary and is really the main reason I'm not completely sure I want another. If I could skip the hyperemesis and know the placenta would cooperate, I'd want 2 more, easily.
