Do you have a "green thumb"?
Ha! It's funny this is today's question - I just threw one of my Ivy plants in the trash b/c it was dead as a doornail. I don't do houseplants/gardening. I wish I could. I love them, but they don't seem to feel the same way about me.
I love plants, I even work at a landscape architecture firm, but I do not have a green thumb. Haha. I cringe when someone gives me a plant as a gift, because I know in a matter of weeks it will be dead. I honestly do try, I don't know what I do wrong.
ha ha! Not me! I kill EVERY indoor plant you can think of - I've even killed cactus and aloe plants which are both supposed to be indestructible! LOL!
Outdoor plants I can make live, mostly because I buy shrubs, flowers and trees for outdoors that are adjusted to our climate and naturallly do well with not much work from me! ha ha!
I don't think of myself as having a green thumb, but I have a houseful of plants so I must be doing something right!
I definitely DO NOT have a green thumb....I was given an indoor plant (no idea what it is) when dd was born and HAVE managed to keep it alive (I even re-potted it when it got too big for the pot it came in) but that's the only indoor plant I've ever been able to keep alive lol I tried my hand at a tomato/pepper garden this year, and while it has done okay (I only planted 4 tomato plants, 4 Anaheim pepper plants, and 4 jalapeno plants) the garden has been overcome with weeds, and I am NOT a weeder
Not sure what I'll do next year, I definitely need something low maintenance because I am just NOT a garden/lawn person I hate it....but I DO love the fresh salsa, fresh tomatoes I have had all summer
I have a veggie garde that is thi\ving on sheer neglect.n
I'm pretty sure I have a black thumb of death.
