Hi, My husband and I are 25 and just got married 7/23 and are going to start trying for a baby in September. I am excited and pretty nervous not to mention I hate the doctors and terrified of needlesbut I can't wait to have a baby of our own everyone on both sides of our family has been asking for a long time and I think its about time to announce that we are trying!!!
We have already came up with the name Rylen but he likes it better for a girl and I think I like it better for a boy. He thinks it should be our first kid no matter what so we will see how that goes
Have to admit I am a little freaked out at the huge life changing event, everything will change but I don't think there is any better time that right now... no time will never be perfect. I think this is as perfect as it can getI look forward to so many things!
Congrats!! Glad you came to hang out with us until you go on to TTC.If you have any questions fro BTDT (been there done that) Moms there are quite a few of us and we would be more than willing to help.

I used to frequent this board till I moved on once I got pregnant but I just wanted to say that dr's aren't the only choice for birth, unless you already know you want pain meds and an epi. If you want to try for a natural birth I would look up midwives. No dr's and no needles.![]()

I agree, here in the UK we only have midwives really... And everything you do or have done is generally a choice - you don't have to have anything done to you. So if you don't want the needles, don't have them!
Good luck with TTC!
My Pregnancy.org babies!
Robin (2), Liberty-Hope (3), Lacey-Rose (4), Ashton (6), Raistlin (8 ), Jaeven (10), Tristan (11)
No more babies for us - POF with very low AMH levels, told the only option would be IVF, so am stopping here.
welcome!

Welcome! I am TTC in September also, so maybe we will be on the same birth board. If you think you might want to go natural (I did and survived) I suggest reading the book The Thinking Woman's Guide to a Better Birth. Also, there is NEVER a perfect time to have a baby. If it seems right, it's time. Congrats on making the decision!
I'll also chime in with - midwives are much less scary than docotrs and you can do a natural birth if you want one! I've had two, with both my kids. Only two needles at the beginning of each pregnancy for a quick blood draw. Check out the Birthing Naturally Board if you are interested in a natural birth.
Good luck TTC and I hope you get a BFP quickly!
