what am I thinking?

Ever have one of those days when the kids you do have drive you bonkers and you think - maybe I shouldn't have another??!

*sigh* It didn't help that DH normally gets home for 4pm and arrived at 5:30pm. An extra hour and a half including dinner is not my idea of a good end of my day when it was already rough and rocky!

At least he's doing bath. And he's doing more than his fair share of clean up tonight too! Blum 3

Oh my goodness, yes! On days like that I just try to remind myself that this phase is short. Soon enough they'll be beyond the "MOMMY MOMMY MOMMY" crash-boom-bang phase and we'll be reaping the benefits of having our ideal number of children. Or so I tell myself ....

I have many of those days since my DS1 is 4 now and likes to test authority! I question why in the world I would ever consider having more. Of course tomorrow is always a new day and then they give you a big hugs and say I love you mommy!

I think that daily! My 2.5 y/o is very very very energetic and very head strong. People comment on her all the time. She is the reason I am hesitant for a third. Luckily, Hannah is so laid back, that she should be pretty easy and by the time I have a third, Elise will at least be in pre-school 2-3 times a week.

You girls are right, this phase does not last forever.

good point on the preschool thing. If the timing works out I'd have about 15 months with three kids at home and then DS would start 1/2 day K. Plus I've heard 4 years old is better for behavior issues. I have to agree that it's my older child that is actually more work just because of his personality!
