    Default Any crocheters here?

    I just found this board....

I am looking for some new site (other than the obvious google ones) for free patterns. I would love to find a cute baby sun hat for this summer. I am an addicted crocheter.

Have you tried Ravelry or etsy? Also crochetpatterncentral.com or lionbrand.com for patterns...Those are my favorites!

Join Ravelry and you will be in free pattern heaven, it pretty much takes care of all the "scouring for free patterns on the web" for you!

They sent out hundreds of invites a day (right guys?) I was wayyy on the waiting list and I am already in. It will only take a few days for you to get your invite! So worth it!

ITA about ravelry. I have wasted (oh, not wasted, because it's not for naught) so may hours perusing those patterns. The part I love best is you can browse through other people's completed projects to see how it turns out, what it looks like in different colors, and any comments they have about the pattern in general.

HI!!! I finished my first crochet project and gave it as a gift yesterday. MIL drinks miller light beer and it is in tall skinny cans that no cosy fits on. So I took the dimensions an made her one myself.

    Hi there! I crochet too.

I've been on Ravelry for a few days and have really enjoyed it so far.
