Default A craft for your kids

I found this pattern in a parenting magazine and my Mum knitted it up for me because I knit very slowly, work full time and don't get much free time at home with looking after DS and the house.
It;s 6 20 x 20cm squares with foam in the middle. The magazine called it a toddler footstool, but as you can see DS who is 6 months old loves it.

Cute Wendy! Do the orange dots come off easily? Are they glued on ...maybe they are stitched on?

My Mum just glued these with a special fabric glue which she was told was the best for this kind of stuff, But they could also be stitched on. Even with a very rough six month old ripping at them nightly for 2 weeks they haven't come off.

Those are very cute! If you made smaller ones, it would be a good way to use up bits and pieces of extra wool, too.

I suppose you could always crochet the dots, and sew them on that way?
