    Default does anyone weave?

or am I the only one???

I have a 32" 4 harness Ashford table loom with the 4 treadle stand. Right now, I'm not working on any projects, but I hope to change that soon. Eventually, I want to weave some material to make window valances for my kitchen. I'm also obsessed with buying patterns for kitchen towels. One day I'll have enough free time to do all the projects I have planned....
There is something about words. In expert hands, manipulated deftly, they take you prisoner. Wind themselves around your limbs like spider silk, and when you are so enthralled you cannot move, they pierce your skin, enter your blood, numb your thoughts. Inside you they work their magic. ~ The Thirteenth Tale

Laura- I took 2 semesters of weaving in college. I used very large loom for weaving back then. I only have 1 project that I made though due to a mix up (was unable to get into the weaving room to pick up/ moved out of state day after graduation). I really loved it, but don't have room for a loom right now.

Michelle, if I ever get the pics uploaded, I'll share. LOL You should look around at your local yarn shops to see if anyone is offering weaving classes. Usually they have small table looms that you can borrow for the class.

Alley, that's too bad that you never got your other project. Looms do take up a lot of room. I've already told dh that our next house has to have to have a craft room for me. My loom is currently in our living/dining room, although both the loom and the treddle stand can fold up to be stored.
