Finish anything new to share here?

I'm working on a hat for my favorite 2-3 year old.

Here we go. Finishing things before I head off to Alberta to see the gang. A poncho and a sweater and cap set.

Just before Christmas, i finished a scarf for my daycare provider. I tried picking a simple project because i knew things would be busy, and i was determined to use yarn that i had in my stash. I didn't love the end product but it was good enough to still give as a gift:





I used the instructions from the "Noro Striped Scarf" pattern. I would love to try this scarf with some actual Noro.

Right now I'm working on a LATE Christmas gift for my sister-in-law. You know my Honey Cowl which i have posted on here before? My SIL said to me so many times that she loves it, so i am making her one...but I'm way behind schedule! Its in the prettiest shades of deep blue. I used String Theory Yarn again for this project...let me tell you..I.Love.This.Yarn!!!

ANNNND, i realized only a week or so ago that this yarn matches my winter hat PERFECTLY...its going to be tough to give this project away when its done. I'll post pictures when it is!

Love them both! My 5 year old would adore that bright red poncho. That matching set is so cute, love the hat with the chin strap!
