Is that Crazy Aunt Purl's basic hat pattern? I love that pattern...I've made 3 of them so far.

    I love your completed hat!!!

Actually I got the pattern from the book "itty-bitty hats" by Susan B. Anderson

It's the very first pattern in her book, so I started simple and hope to move on to the next one. They're all SO adorable, I love hats on babies!!

Are you sure it is your first hat? It really looks good. I think i should get that book. If only i had the money to buy it. sigh. I guess i could add it to my growing wishlist for income tax return use.

    It's beautiful!

Dakota, there are TONS of good free and easy patterns online. There should be a link thread at the top of the board.

I can't wait to get more yarn to do the next one! The closest yarn shops are 30 miles away, ugh!!! I'm planning to make a trip on Thursday and get a few different yarns for the next few patterns!

Great job! I agree, I LOVE hats on little ones. I made hats for my 2 grandsons for Christmas gifts, and made quite a few for the new baby last summer. Booties are fun too, but lots of counting...and not all that useful.
