    Default Ideas anyone?

I have a question for everyone. One of my OL friends just miscarried at 12 weeks, and it has really devastated her to the point where she says that they aren’t going to try anymore (she has 2 kids and has had 4 m/c now). I wondered if anyone had any ideas of something relatively quick that I could make her knitting or crochetting. I have no idea what her size is (I’ve never met her in person), and I don’t think baby stuff is even an option.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Maybe something nice just for her? I've made a couple of these:

WOW! those are really amazing. I've never done anything so complicated - and I'd have to FOLLOW the pattern but since it's small, I might be able to deal with it!

    Great idea!

Those patterns are gorgeous, but not all that simple looking. I can imagine making one and giving it along with a really nice book.

    I love that idea!

And I love the pattern. Thats one to keep bookmarked as the weather warms up and I don't really want to make heavy sweaters and such anymore!

I don't have a pattern, but I once saw a knitted bookmark. It was made of very fine yarn so that it was nice and flat, and was just a simple cable pattern. Just another idea!
