Post pattern ideas here!
I'm not a crochet-er but I look at crochet patterns I like all the time Because I keep telling myself that some day I will learn.
I always find myself coming back to this one...
Very baby girly so I don't know if it will appeal to everyone, but remember! Gifts Gifts Gifts!
Also, like I said, i dont' know crochet so I am not going by any skill level, i am simply looking at projects that I like!
Edited to add...
actually the whole ensamble is pretty darn cute...
There's even a pattern for a matching overcoat
Here's a nice simple cardigan:
For those who preffer to knit, I've seen this exact pattern for knitting as well!
And here's a nice vest:
I have a favourite hat that I vaguely followed a pattern for and would love to make again. It's a purchased pattern (I'd have to find the source), but here's my photo of it here:
Skyler Dylan 22 April 1999
Reed Aslan 17 June 2007 ~ 8 September 2008
Ivy Rayne 3 May 2009
Leo Spencer 2 Sept 2010
Forrest Reed 15 Aug 2012
I wanna make your hat!
I know of a couple of other crochet patterns from blue sky, i actually want the headband, but i'ts probably too small of a project for a CAL no?
THis one is a rug...and I would have a place to put it too
And actually, on the 'purchase' side, they have small handful of crochet patterns that I think are really nice...but I figured if you were going to go the purchase route...someone who knows how to crochet could suggest it
(the crochet patterns are mixed in with the knit patterns)
This something else I actually want to do! Now the picture shows a belt, but I actually want to use them as tiebacks for my curtains in my bedroom! (Our sheetse have bright colored polka dots on them)
The Pattern is for the belt, coasters and pins...any of the 3!
Two Baby Hat Patterns that I thought were cute
It was the first crochet pattern I ever did - though the pattern came out too big for my head so I gave it to my best friend!Originally Posted by Michelle23
It's fun because you aren't always doing the same stitch so you can play around with how crochetting works. Plus, the pattern is very forgiving (or I'm just really lucky). I don't think I ever followed the correct number of stitches or increases, but as long as I got them approximately right and increased more or less evenly around, it looked great on all 3 of the hats that I made. If I knew how to make a seam properly it would probably look even better - but still most people don't even notice. I have to find my pattern but likely it's already packed in a box by DH... I think I know which box though!
Hey! I've been thinking of crochetting a rug! I think it would be really fun, but tough to keep it all flat. I have some yarn somewhere that I thought would be cool for that too!Originally Posted by KimPossible
I was just pointed this direction by sarahsunshine - thanks! I have many baby blanket patterns, and baby hat patterns - and super cute pattern to make an octopus.
Here's a pic of the orange one I have sitting on my monitor.
Although - what exactly is a crochetalong?
