    Default Knitting in Spring

My pleasure in knitting seems to have been superseded by my passion for gardening these days. Come Fall, this will likely switch again!

I'm not a gardner so that doesn't interfere with my desire to knit...but the warmer weather usually does. I have decided this year to make sure I concetrate more on projects that fit the weather. I am knitting a cotton sweater for Cecilia. I actually enjoy knitting with cotton, but rarely do it. And I just went to a sheep and wool festival in NY. I've gone to this one the last 3 years and its such a wonderful little event. I bought some yarn while i was there, but chose a lace weight yarn, figuring that it would be good for the warmer weather.

I have great pictures from the sheep and wool festival...i'll post them here later!

Back after a NASTY computer virus knocked out my former computer. YUCK. I'm slow picking up the pieces. I have a used computer now which has everything slightly different from what I was used to.

I'd love to see your festival photos! Whenever you have a chance... I bet Cecilia has changed a ton!

No one seems to be knitting at all..or at least not talking about it. The list gets shorter and shorter.

I started teaching myself to knit last year, I have two scarves on at the moment, neither of which are anywhere near being finished. I have very little desire to knit now because we moved and it doesn't get too cold where we live. I am not attempting to knit anything for bub either because it will be getting hot when bub arrives. Maybe for next winter though.

Autumn is a great time to knit! Wendy, you're not going to have tons of time with a new baby, but it should be satisfying if you make time for yourself.

I've totally stalled! Things became busy around here and my needles haven't been touched in weeks. Booooooo. I really want to finish this sweater though, she would still get good use out of it. Its a cotton pullover and would be good in the evenings. Need to get hopping!

Things really stalled here too. Tomorrow I'm picking up a project pattern in another town. I ordered it a while back and never made time to collect it til now.
