Tell us what you are working on!
This board is too darn quiet
I'm working on a sweater for my good friends first baby! I really should have it done by this Sunday because she is coming to my house for a birthday part we are throwing for Aodhan and Nathalie.
If you are on Ravelry here is a link to the pattern I'm using

Now the featured photo is the girls version, there is a boys version that I'm doing.
Oh, and to share my knitting pattern book addiction with you all. I have aquired 3 more books over the summer!
Candy Babies - I bought it for 4 dollars! Its all crochet patterns, and I am a crochet novice.
Natural Knits for Babies and Moms (that is the book tha the above pattern is from) I LOOOOOVE the patterns in this book!
And Itty Bitty Nursery - I have wanted this book for a long time, the patterns in it are so fun!
Ok crafty ladies, tell me what you are up to!

I'm knitting snowman hats (in acrylic, yuck) for the Church bazaar.
I also have 2 pairs of longies in the queue. I just finished up a really cute skirtie. I'll have to get all my stuff up on ravelry. I have no project listed there. It's kind of sad. I just haven't gotten the time to do it, and the projects keep piling up.

I'm working on a baby blanket and a hat- learning to work on a longer project, and the hat is on dpn's, so that's been quite an experience. Have to start somewhere, right?![]()
Sadly, nothing.

Well, I'm working on a backpack(for a 4 year old, it's not that big) that will have a small coin purse attached to it, deadline August 23rd, her birthday. Then I start on Thing 2's blanket and hat set, a 7 point blanket for her, plus a pair of socks, then finish working on a stuffed monkey for my niece and the dragon shawl for myself. The monkey has until Feb, unless I can get it done in time for my baby shower(the one I don't know about, of course), then it will be given to my niece then. Everything else has until October.
Oh and I still have Medallion rag sets to finish. I'm so proud, it's the only thing I've actually "designed" and written out the pattern for, it's on Raverly, my s/n is hoagie over thereIt's free, so I'm not trying to sell anything, I'm just so durned proud! (said with a hick accent)
I've got a pair of shorties in the works. Hopefully I can finish them this week after school starts.
After I'm done with the shorties, I plan to make some longies.

I've not posted here before, but I've got a bolero that I'm crocheting for me, a blanket that I'm making for a friend's baby shower and a baby hat (knitting) on the go.
Hopefully they'll all be done by the end of the week. I've got some wool coming from Candy Pants for a pair of shorties. Those should take about 3 hours.

Hi Amanda! welcome to the board...help us keep it alive and busy!
Sadly, i did not finish my sweater in time to give it to my friend this Sunday. I should have known better, i had so much preparation for the party to take care of that I knew i wasn't going to get it done in time. I bought her a little baby hat at our local children's store as a 'pre-gift' to give her and told her i had something bigger to give her in the near future.
Oh, while she was at my house she had a hard time keeping track of the baby's pacifier so I'm going to knit her one of those cute pacifier clippies...i've linked to them before, they are from the Itty Bitty Nursery book but its a free pattern.
Once any of you ladies finish a project post a picture! I know i know...thats what ravelry is for, but share here too!![]()

I'm finishing my dishcloths for the dishcloth swap. I have one left and it seems like everytime I sit down to finish it something comes up and I have to put it down. lol
I've also started a Halloween table cover for my sister. It is a pretty intensive project so I don't know that she will get it for this Halloween. lol
As soon as I finish the dishcloths, I will start working on Christmas presents. Dani helped me pick out yarn for my sister's afghan so it is going to be this really pretty maroon.
I am also making dishcloths for my mom and sister for smaller stocking stuffer presents.
Speaking of ravelry, can someone tell me how to add a project to our group project list? I tried adding something the other day and couldn't get it figured out.

I made a poncho for the ravelympics.
I am currently working on a pair of socks (I made 1 about a month ago from a different pattern and I hate it - it was toe-up with short rows and it just wasn't working for me). I am also working on a cabled afghan that I started back in February - that's a long-term project.
Today, DS told me he wanted socks, but I managed to convince him that I will make him child legs instead. (It's a free ravelry pattern download.)
