    Default question about felt

    I am looking into purchasing bult felt to use to embellish some cloth diapers. anyone know if what stitch I should use and how well it holds up in the wash?

    I'm not sure that felt washes up very well because it's not woven.

    Maybe some wool instead? (Interlock?) I think Julianna from the CDing board would be a good person to ask. She knows a lot about fabric.

    the only thing about wool is that it will felt on it's own so you would want to knit it large and felt it ahead of time. Or else hand wash it.

    if you purchase wool felt, you can certainly stitch it, it would look lovely with a blanket stitch and it does wash well.




    Birthday: 15 December, 10 pounds, 2 oz. 21 1/2 inches.
