Bought some wool for a sweater for baby Leo (DGS). It is so rainy and miserable that knitting seems like a good plan. I think I'll make size 12-18 months so that he can wear it next winter. Now to start and finish it!
I finished a knit top for a dress for (DGD) Ivy. Here's how it turned out:
It is a Debbie Bliss pattern and I hope it fits. It looks wide for our skinny girl, but maybe it will be a better fit next year...with tights?

Love the dress!! Adorable! Your grandchildren are so lucky.

I began the new project. Only had a short time to work on it, but it was fun. Tomorrow (Tuesday) will be super hot and humid, so knitting will probably not be on the agenda.

Hey, we got Leo's sweater yesterday, and his bug pyjamas... They JUST fit him, so he'll be wearing them a lot for the next week or so!
The dress looks great - but, yeah - wide. I wonder how much it will shrink when washed?

Things don't usually shrink in width, only in length.![]()

The new sweater for Leo is slow going because the seasons have changed. I'm not much into knitting mode as the weather warms. The front and back are almost done, so that leaves the sleeves and hood to do as well as the pocket ribbing..

Oooh! A new pattern!
That's nice!
The colours are almost identical to Ivy's jogging suit!

I made a mistake I think in the latest pattern and need to take out a few (OK a lot of) rows.
I'll wait until Fall to pick up the sweater again. Too hot and busy now!
