Default Isabelle's Toddler Years-The Cuteness and the Not-So-Cute!

I have a love-hate relationship with the two-year old phase! I love the cute moments like when I go to get her from her crib in the mornings and she is so stinkin' happy and singing- a total morning person compared to me and DH who are dragging around. Hate those moments when she is doing something she shouldn't after being told "No!" for the 10 millionth time or having a toddler tantrum, lol!

Isabelle LOVES to help vacuum-she has a fisher price pop toy that she pushes around and pretends to vacuum with. The other night my DH carried the vacuum into the living room for me and DD practically leaped out of her highchair to go get her "vacuum". Then she kept saying "you ready, you ready?" while I was getting the vacuum cord unwound to plug in. I told DH we had invented a new sport- synchronized vacuuming, lol!

Isabelle has caught one of the nasty bugs going around this winter. She had a temp and was very lethargic all day plus threw up a couple times. I hope it goes away quick, I hate seeing her sick

Still sick today, but at least no throwing up. Fun times trying to do work from home while taking care of a sick toddler.

Isabelle was finally back to normal today thankfully. She had a fun afternoon at daycare and went to bed without a fight. She was kind of grumpy when I picked her up from daycare, I notice that after all the stimulation of being around other kids all day, she gets overtired and more prone to meltdowns. We managed to avoid any major tantrums though, when she started getting upset I threatened to tickle her which broke the mood.
