Well, my daughter is so funny. She cracks us up every day. She's been doing such funny things lately. Here's a quote from another post I did.
I decided it's high time I started keeping track of these things somewhere.Quote:
Rebecca has just been cracking us up all the time lately. Here are some examples:
The other day she was jabbering and jabbering (as she does all the time) and then suddenly she said, "I talk too much."
I had a couple of days off last week. We dropped A&A off at school like we usually do and then instead of going to her daycare, we went home. When I pulled into our driveway, she said, "Where's my daycare? I don't see it. Is it hiding?"
On Saturday she pushed her stepstool over to the kitchen counter to get some little wooden spoons down that she loves to play with. While reaching for the spoons, she accidentally kicked the stool out from under her and was hanging over the side of the counter. She yelled, "Help! Help! Ayudeme!" (which is "help me" in spanish)
Today she went into a bag of donation clothes that I had in my room. Amanda had pulled a brand new fleece out of her drawer to get rid of. (Relatives keep buying her kids clothes, forgetting that she's 14 and almost full grown.) She brought me the rainbow striped pull-over so I put it on her and rolled up the sleeves. She looks so cute. I told her to go show Amanda. Amanda said, "OH YOU ARE SO CUTE!" Then she ran around the house looking for daddy. She came and asked me where he is. I said he's either downstairs or outside. She walked to the gate at the top of the stairs and yelled, "DADDY, ARE YOU DOWNSAIRS?" (She pronounces stairs as "sairs.") He yelled back that he was and he'd be up in a few minutes. I told him she just wanted to show him her new jacket. I came to see it and told her how cute she looks. She wandered around for a few minutes and said, "I want to show daddy again." Just then he came up from the basement. She went running to show him again. She is just so cute and sweet.
