    Name/nickname: Mary

    Your Age/DH or SO's age: 43/41

Your career/job: WAHM + also do odd jobs on occasion. Currently I'm working at DH's work place doing a temporary job for DH's boss using an iron press to iron patches on 2,000 pockets for costumes.

DH's/SO's career/job: Subcontractor for owner of costume business. He cuts cloth, etc., loads/unloads material, makes trips out of town to deliver cut cloth for sewing by other companies or picks up sewn costumes. DH also does work on the side doing woodworking, mostly "turnings" (table legs).

Current TTC Status (waiting, JLIH, actively trying, etc.): Actively trying... sort of. We're pretty relaxed about it.

If currently ttc, where are you in your cycle right now (if you know)? As of today, Fri July 8: CD 14 (I think). Will probably O around CD 17 or 18 and hoping as always that we'll catch the egg this time.

Vents/struggles this week: Nothing significant that I can think of right now

Positives this week: The previous problem we were having that made ttc impossible last month seems to have resolved itself, so I have more hope for this month... if we can find the time/opportunity to BD more often than we have lately, that is

Anything else you want to add: I'm sad that today was the last Shuttle Launch, and that I missed it It will be interesting to see what lies ahead for private companies to provide outer space travel, though.

DH's/SO's career/job: Pastor, Lead hand at a green manufacturing business

Current TTC Status (waiting, JLIH, actively trying, etc.): hmmm... probably JLIH, borderline actively trying.

If currently ttc, where are you in your cycle right now (if you know)? geez. It's kind of mixed up. I'd say 6?

Vents/struggles this week: So much rain!!

Positives this week: My tooth that I'm waiting on a root canal for is bothering me so much that they're just going to pull it. But that means that we don't have to skip this cycle for TTC. Yay! I didn't think I'd be so excited to get a tooth pulled!

    Your Age/DH or SO's age: 31 (as of Saturday)/30

Your career/job: Client Executive in the financial industry

    DH's/SO's career/job: Teacher

Current TTC Status (waiting, JLIH, actively trying, etc.): Waiting for my first AF after m/c

If currently ttc, where are you in your cycle right now (if you know)? Who knows. I have been trying to tell when I might O (so that I can predict when to expect AF) by CM, but I'm sure my body is all messed up so it's probably stupid to try to interpret anything.

Vents/struggles this week: I've been pretty blue lately. Not all of the time, I guess it's lucky that we've been so freaking busy because it gets my mind off of things. But when I have down time, I'm definitely a little depressed. Oh, and then I just heard from my MIL that DH's cousin was like complaining about us to the entire family. The cousins had a family brunch on Sunday, and they sent out the evite about a month ago right when I was going through my m/c. Between having a lot on my mind and being so so so busy, I will admit that I completely forgot to RSVP yes or no. And forget DH doing it - he is just terrible about that stuff (probably because I always do it.) Anyway, totally slipped my mind and we didn't RSVP and we didn't go. My bad. So I guess the cousin complained to DH's aunt about us, and then to DH's grandma (who is VERY etiquette minded) and then that got back to DH's mom....blah blah blah. I feel bad, but I also kind of feel a little annoyed because mistakes happen, and I wish she would have just called me instead of complaining about us to everyone else. It's just another thing to feel crappy about, kwim?

Positives this week: It's nice seeing so many people on both sides of the family that we haven't seen in a long time. Oh, and sushi tonight! Yay!

Anything else you want to add: No, I think that I have ranted enough.

Alissa, I'm sorry you are feeling so blue. I know how hard it can be. It especially sucks when it feels like everyone has moved on and you are still grieving. I hope that keeping busy this month will help not feel so down. And rant away! That's why we're here. Remember, I'm just a PM away.

I totally agree. I didn't realize how lonely the grieving process is. I kind of went through a similar situation where people in the church (who knew I was going through a m/c) were mad because I wasn't available to take care of their stupid trivial problems. I was like, seriously? How do they not get it? I mean, I know I'm a pastor, but I'm still human.

I didn't feel like I owed them anything, but it still ticked me off that they felt like they had a right to feel that way towards me.
