Im hanging in there.Still working too much and doing physical therapy for my ankle and knee twice a week.Dh took me out to dinner last night and this afternoon after he gets done with a gig he has to play we are going to go shopping since i have my one day off for this week today.Have my followup Dr appt on monday for my ankle, will see what he thinks we should do from here for it.I gained alot of movement and strength front to back but side to side its still pretty weak.No clue what my schedule is gonna be for next week, they still hadnt posted it when i left yesterday at 3pm to head to PT.Id be thrilled if i actually got 2 days off this coming week, but not gonna hold my breath on that one  How are the girls doing with school?

Val-I hope your follow-up appt. goes well.

Bonita-Glad things are going well with homeschooling. I miss teaching a lot. My little guy starts school right after labor day.

Jina-:bigarmhug: Thinking of you today.

AFM-The nurse at the OB office got me sick. I saw them Monday, we didn't go anywhere Tuesday, and I woke up sick Wednesday. I went in yesterday (I have to go twice a week now) and sure enough she was sick. This cold is miserable and the OB I saw (not my regular) told me to basically suck it up and wait it out. I just want to sleep all day...but no can do with a little one running around. Who gets a cold in the middle of August and 100 degree weather, lol.

So sorry you aren't feeling too good Lenora. I hope it goes away. Summer colds are seriously the worst!

Val - So sorry about the ankle. I hope it heals quickly.

Bonita - How is school?

Jina, still thinking of you!!!!Much Love!

AFM - Doing good. I pulled a side muscle in my jog this morning, and it really hurts to walk. It's really weird. I have a wedding tomorrow that I'm preping for, but then nothing until next saturday, so I'll have some time for myself again. That will be nice. I've been temping again, and getting very anxious about O'ing. So, basically nothing new in my little life. Biggrin

It is going well.

Today was Brianna's 4 year check up. It was terrible! She got 5 shots and a finger prick. She knew she was getting shots and was so upset that she was vomiting. I felt terrible for her. It was awful to hold her down while they gave her the shots.

Bonita-Your poor DD. Brandon had his 4-year appt. about a month ago and it was brutal...the worst one so far. She warned us it was going to be bad but it was just awful. The first thing they did was take his blood (the "real" way) and after that it was all downhill. Then came the four shots and he was screaming so hard. We took him out to dinner that night and we let him get whatever he wanted. I felt so bad for him though at his appt.

I was very tempted to say forget it, but then we would have had to come back later and I did not want her to fear doctors or shots so I wanted her to be able to move past it but man, it is the worst to hold down a child for shots.

Hi ladies! I haven't been around much, but stopped by to check in on you all.

Jina, I am so, so sorry that you're going through this again. My losses have all, at least, been early ones - I can't imagine your pain right now, but am very glad that your doctor has an aggressive plan in place to find you some answers.

All I can offer is hugs and hope.

Val, I hope you get some good news at your appointment today. I also hope you get those 2 days off! You certainly deserve them!

Lenora, It sucks that your nurse got you sick. You would think since she's a nurse that she would know better and stay home! Ugh...I imagine having a cold while you're pregnant is no fun.

Lisa, I hope you are feeling better today and hope the wedding went well! Yay for O'ing....hope you catch that egg!!

Bonita, Awww poor Brianna. I'm glad she got through it and got Chick-fil-a as a treat! I'd get over getting bunch of shots for Chick-fil-a too! Wink

Carole, Thank you and thanks for checking in! You've been missed! How have you been?

Hi to everyone else....I hope you are all doing well.

AFM, Thanks again ladies for all the support. I'm doing okay. I still haven’t cried. I haven’t gotten angry. I’m just in a very reflective mood. I’m just thinking about how unfair all this seems. Not just for me but for all the heartbroken ladies out there that deserves to hold their little babies instead of mourning them. My D&C is scheduled for this Friday so I'm just waiting for that. The only thing I'm annoyed by at this moment is that my pregnancy symptoms are not going away. In fact the nausea seems to be getting stronger and my hunger level is through the roof...how....funny. I've just been keeping busy by reading. I read the Hunger Games Trilogy this weekend and I'm sad that it's over. I started reading The Clan of the Cave Bear again but I'm looking for a much lighter read to take my mind off of things. Any recommendations?

Jina - You just amaze me!!! You are so wonderful and so strong. Sometimes I look at you (and others on this board) and I feel so selfish. I too wonder why our bodies can't realize and why we still have to go through the symptoms. Huge Hugs.

I sure wouldn't minds starting up the healthy living thread again.

AFM - It was quite funny yesterday when I handed DH a schedule. I said, "here's your schedule for the next couple days." and handed him a folded up piece of paper. He opened it and it said one word in large letters; SEX. I'm pretty sure I got my pre-o dip today, and we've been busy, and will continue just to make sure. I know, you guys don't need to know all this. But I'm so stinking determined this month.

Big hugs Jina. I had lots of issues after my m/c because it was missed and I still had the same pregnancy symptoms. The symptoms are tolerable when you think you are pregnant but not when you know it is over Sad What kind of testing will they start with?

Jina - more hugs, girl :bigarmhug: It is hard to still have the symptoms, I remember that all too well.

Bonita - sorry about the shots, that must have been pure torture for you. Bet you're glad it's over.

Lisa - I didn't mind you sharing that, it was hilarious! ROFL I should try that with my DH!

Hi to everyone else! Biggrin

Sorry this is short, but gotta go and pick up Hannah from school. She's in school now, i can't believe it! Pre-K. 3 hrs a day. We decided she needed to be around other kids.

Still coming to the library. My computer is being stubborn about being fixed. Hope to catch up tomorrow! :wavehello:

Jina - You will be in my thoughts this Friday. ((HUGS)) I would love it if you started a new Healthy Living Thread! I am definitely working on getting healthier and would love to chat with you about it. Also, if anyone is on myfitnesspal.com, add me as a friend. I am Alissa_Sal over there too. It has been really helpful in motivating me to be healthier. As for light reads, try the Queen Betsy series by MaryJanice Davidson. Just be sure to start with Undead and Unwed (Book 1). I didn't know that it was a series when I started reading it. I just picked up one of the later books, and they don't stand alone very well - I was kind of lost until I figured out that it was a series and then started over beginning with book one. But they are really cute - Queen Betsy is the very unwilling queen of the Vampires who is obsessed shopping and designer shoes.

Lisa - woohoo! Have fun catching that eggie!

Bonita - Your poor DD! Sounds like her day was pretty bad for a while. I'm glad that she got a milk shake to make up for it.

AFM - Sorry I have been a little MIA. I just haven't been feeling the whole TTC thing lately, so I have been sticking more towards my beloved debate board. LOL But I am actually feeling a little less blue today, so that's good news. And Jina, I definitely want to do the Healthy Living Thread again with you. I did almost an hour on the rowing machine at the gym last night - I need somewhere to brag! LOL

I am glad its over. No more shots until age 11. How is Hannah liking school? I am sure it is a bitter/sweet time.

Lisa, that is too funny. I bet your DH got a big kick out of that! I really hope you catch that egg!

Dani, thanks for the hugs. Right now I’m getting my thyroid tested. On Friday they will send the babies off for genetic testing. Depending on the results Hubs and I will get genetic testing done as well. My doctor mentioned a bunch of other tests…I can’t really remember off the top of my head. I just want her to test me for everything there is to test for because I want some answers.

Mary, Oh gosh! How exciting! Hannah in school!? lol You’ll have to tell us all about how her first day went!

Alissa, I will start a thread for healthy living then. I had to create a new account on myfitnesspal since my old one is…well….old and hasn’t been updated in a long, long time. I’m going to add you soon! Smile Thanks for the book recommendation…I’ll have to check it out. Hehe…you must have a thing for vampires….or maybe one vampire in particular…*cough* Alexander Skarsgard *cough*. Wink

I hear ya on not feeling the whole TTC thing….I’m glad to hear you’re not quite so blue today. WTG on rowing for an hour! I swear….I must be really out of shape because just thinking about doing anything for an hour makes me sweat! lol

Ah…the debate board…. I admit I love to lurk….VERY interesting, entertaining and intimidating. I give you mad props for being able to debate…I certainly can’t without getting very frustrated….lol.

Bonita, hopefully starting the Heathy Living thread will help all of get back on track!

I have spent WAY to much time on there today. I do love though that we can debate and have totally opposites points of view and can still come back here and support each other. I will confess though it makes me so nervous I get sick to my stomach. Silly I know.

I would love to be a part of a healthy living thread. I'm starting a new eating plan on Monday and started doing C25K last week. I'm on board!! Smile

AFM, I can't wait for this weekend. It's our 6th anniversary, and we're headed to our friends cabin (I use that term liberally... it's quite palatial, lol) with the kids. So excited! And, it's near the "big city" so we can finish DS's school clothes shopping. Fun fun! Anyone have any weekend plans?

Hi everyone, thought I'd come out of lurkedom for a post here and there.

Jina-I hope everything goes smoothly on Friday. I was following you and so so sorry to hear about your recent loss. I hope they are testing you for several of the blood clotting markers in addition to the thyroid stuff. Maybe look at your uterus, my OB suggested testing to make sure there wasn't a septum where the embro would implant but not grow after my third loss.

Alissa-I was reading your journal and I'm very similar in that I get very passionate/focused and what I'm passionate about changes. After my most recent loss in Feb I was obsessed with exercising, reading books and doing things to "fix" myself like changing diet, acupuncture, weaning my son (yes, I'm crazy, I was nursing a 2 year old) etc. Three months later and still not pregnant I moved on to watching every really good romatic movie I'd never seen before. By the way I highly recommend to everyone the BBC North and South I watched it many times (the ending maybe over a hundred) The Painted Veil was also very good. I think it's healthy for the most part and good for the healing process although I've done this for most of my life, even when I'm not in pain.

I do need a new focus. I'm rereading the 6th Harry Potter I've lost count how many times I've read those books, a constant passion I've turn to frequently for the past 11 years.

Rachel- I had to laugh to myself a little bit... I just watched the ENTIRE North and South saga today for the first time. Smile It was fantastic. I just wanted to chime in and say I felt/feel the same way after my loss. I wonder if it's part of the natural healing process?

Bonita - Awwwww, please don't get so nervous about the debate board. I'm so argumentative I would probably debate whether or not the sky is really blue, but I never need to agree with someone in a debate to like them or be there for them. Biggrin

I'm glad that your DH is okay and that he gets to come home early!

Rachel - Is North and South that old show (from the 80's I think) about the Civil War? I remember watching that as a kid. I may have to look and see if it is on Netflix.

Val - I am so glad to hear that you and your house are okay. How scary! And hurricanes too!

Jina - LOL!!! You got me, I do have a thing for...ahem...one particular very tall blonde vampire.... Please keep us posted about what the doctors figure out. I have everything crossed for you that they find a reason and that it's something easily fixable like a clotting factor that just requires a daily baby aspirin or something. ((HUGS))

Elizabeth - Happy anniversary!!!! It sounds like you guys are going to have a great time!

AFM - Not much going on right now. I am going to go see if Jina has started a Healthy Living Thread yet...

Alissa- No it's not the one from the 80s. It was made in 2004 and it's the BBC mini-series (about 3 hours long) North & South http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0417349/ and YES it is available on netflix you can stream it instantly so you don't have to even wait for the disks. It's set in the north of England in 1840ish, a woman from the south moves to the north of England. It is based on the book North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell written around 1840.

In addition to reading the book the movie lead me to research the actor. I like him a lot he seems to really care about his roles with research and he just does such a good job in North and South. The ending scene mmmm... I may need to watch the whole thing again...

Bonita, I’m glad your DH is okay and he’s getting to come home early!

Elizabeth, Ooh, your weekend sounds like it’s going to be a blast!

Val, wow, glad you and your dogs are okay. How scary! Enjoy your 4 day weekend!

Rachel, thanks! Hubby and I just decided to go see a fertility clinic here that specializes in recurrent miscarriages. We are very hopeful that they will be able to give us some answers. I like my OB but I think I’ll be more comfortable seeing a specialist.

Hmmm….I’ll have to check out the show. I’m sure I’ll be laid up in bed this weekend so I’ll have plenty of time to waste!

I was just going to re-read the entire Harry Potter books but I got distracted. Maybe I’ll try again.

Alissa, Haha! I will keep you guys posted….and I agree I hope it’s easily fixable too.

AFM, sorry I haven’t started the Healthy Living Thread. I’ll do that as soon as I’m done here. I’m actually having really bad cramps. It started a few days ago and it’s been getting worse. Thank goodness the D&C is tomorrow! I’m also posting from our gaming computer and I hate the keyboard here. My laptop just died on me a few days ago. My new laptop is supposed to show up today so I’m looking forward to that!

Jina - Oh no, I am so sorry that you have been having really bad cramps for the past couple of days AND that your laptop died. Did you end up getting a MacBook? You are going to be in my thoughts all day tomorrow. ((HUGS))

AFM - Tonight is Back to School Night for my hubby, so it is just me and The Boy on our own tonight. I am going to make spaghetti and meatballs because DH is a big weirdo and he hates spaghetti (I LOVE it and it's so flipping easy, and I never make it because DH is not a fan, and he has agreed to just pick up some Qdoba for himself on his way home.) I think after dinner we'll walk down to the park if it's not too hot. Then from T's bed time (8:00) to when DH gets home (probably around 9:30 or a little after) I am going to curl up on the couch with a glass of wine and watch Overboard which has been my favorite movie since I was 12. Spaghetti and Overboard - it's like the perfect anti-DH combination. I hope everyone has a great day.

:giveflower: Aww, you are great to debate with. Very respectful. Their are others who are not so much so that make me nervous. It has been a wonderful experience though. Most all of my friends and family feel like I do on most issues. It has been great for me to learn what the rest of the world feels about different issues. It also kept me busy and helped the time go by faster while DH was away.

AFM - AF is about 3 days late. Just for fun I took a PT and of course it was negative. Having my tubes tied has really messed with my body. For some reason I am growing facial hair  and my periods are all messed up.

I'm sorry that your body is messed up right now. Have you talked to your doctor about it?

AFM - I am dragging today! DH asked me to pick up T tonight even though it is his turn because he is going to Happy Hour with some of his coworkers. I hate to admit it, but I am actually glad for an excuse not to go to the gym tonight. Sooo sleepy.

Hope that everyone has a great weekend!

Sorry about your knee, how is it now? And wow about the earthquake. What was it like? What did you think was happening at first? That is so eerie about the dogs. I saw a thing on TV where they showed a dog that was sleeping and got up to walk around nervously right before the quake hit.

Sorry about the cramps Sad Did you get your new laptop yet?

I like Overboard, too! Great movie Smile Oh how I wish Hannah would go to sleep at 8:00. Maybe after she's been on this new school schedule for awhile she'll eventually get there. I guess I could pick a morning next week and play hooky from computer work and rent a movie while she's in school. Dirol Oooo that sounds so good. It's been soooooo long since I was able to watch a good chick flick uninterrupted Smile

AFM - AF is about 3 days late. Just for fun I took a PT and of course it was negative. Having my tubes tied has really messed with my body. For some reason I am growing facial hair  and my periods are all messed up.

Sorry your body messed with you and made you get your hopes up. And EEK about the facial hair! What did you find out when you did a search online?

AFM, Hannah is really enjoying school. Though she tells me she wishes I could stay there with her. So sweet.

In other news, you know that expression "Close, but no cigar?" Well that was me on Monday. Week 9 of the C25K--the final week-- requires running 3 miles (or 30 min) on 3 separate days. I came sooooo close to completing the 3rd run, but 3/4 of the way through, my right hip and leg started hurting too badly, and the muscles in both legs started getting so tight that it hurt, so I had to stop and walk. I tried to run again after walking for awhile, but it was no use.

I'm not sure why that happened, I always stretch a good bit after each run. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to run on any other day this week, either, for various reasons. The latest was because I wasn't feeling well (sore throat). I'm really hoping I'll be able to run again by tomorrow morning! I don't want to get too far behind, because I want to work on my speed and also find a bridge or hill to practice running on for an upcoming 5K race on October 1st. It will involve running over two bridges, and one is pretty high!

Just that some people have complications from having their tubes tied that cause them to go into menopause prematurely. I am now 5 days late. Blah. If I knew nothing was wrong I would just enjoy not having it.

You still did really well! I have not worked out in forever. And I had been doing so well.

5 days late? Hmmm. Wonder if you just o'd later? KUP.

I'm feeling better today! I might try to run again tomorrow morning before church.

Monday morning I'll have to leave earlier because they'll be starting drop-offs at Hannah's school. I don't feel comfortable dropping her off at the door yet, so I'll probably still take her to her class, but the traffic will be backed up due to the "line" so I want to get there as early as possible, even if it means sitting in the parking lot (We're not allowed to drop them off any earlier than 8:45, unless we want to pay $20 for 'morning care.') Plus, right after I drop her off, I'll be heading straight to my brother's place to pick up my 3-year old niece at 9:00 so I can take care of her for a couple of hours. I can't wait, she is such a sweetie, and such a good girl, too (and smart as a whip!).

By the way, figured this might strike up a good conversation here... DH talked to a man today who is from India, about how things are so different there for kids. The fathers get home from work and then almost immediately help their kids with their homework until dinner (which they don't eat until about 9pm), then after dinner the kids keep studying until midnight, then they get back up at 5am and study until breakfast! I told DH, those kids aren't getting enough sleep! But he said the man said they seem to do okay with it. The man was a product of that, as he is a network engineer and makes boocoos of money. His parents decided for him that he would be an engineer when he was 3 years old! That's how the teacher introduced him to his peers on his first day of school (I assume that was Preschool? Surely they don't start Kindergarten at 3!?!)

How the parents figured out he would be good as a computer engineer at such a young age is beyond me, but apparently he is very good at what he does.

There is more, but I'll stop there. I'm interested to know what everyone's reaction to that will be. I was amazed, but concerned at the same time for those kids, mainly about them getting enough sleep. It also made me feel like a very lazy parent! LOL.

Yikes. That is a lot of studying. I think it would be better if it was more well rounded. That is not to say that the US could not do a little more studding though.

Have any of you every had a tubal pg before? I know that it is somewhat common in people who have had their tubes tied. I have no symptoms other than missed period with a negative test which I know could mean many things.

Hey everyone....um, heh - remember me...?

I am sorry I am so remiss...I just get busy and tied up with stuff, then before I know it, I haven't been here for days!

Bonita, sorry, I haven't ever had a tubal pg before so I have no information to offer you. I only hope that for you it's not a tubal pg!!

Mary, I find that's crazy - that's basically sleep deprivation! I let Evie sleep as much as she can (within reason, given her routine on weekends and her daycare on weekdays). I figure she will have TONS of time and opportunity later to deprive herself of sleep, I'm gonna let Evie get as much sleep as possible!

Bonita - It doesn't "sound" like you have an ectopic. Usually you'll get a BFP, but then again, anything is possible I guess. I really hope you don't!

Sophia - I don't blame you, I try to make sure Hannah gets plenty of sleep, too. I don't see how those kids function on so little sleep.

Lisa - How are you? I saw that you were lurking on this board tonight. Haven't heard from you in awhile. Hope you're okay.

Someone else we haven't heard from in awhile is Chadae. I don't think I've seen her on FB in awhile, either. Anyone remember what BB she is on?

So it's a good thing I called my SIL today. Come to find out, she doesn't need me to pick up my niece tomorrow after all. I was a bit disappointed, but I do have lots to do, including making a doctor appointment for myself. I want to get my hip(s) checked out since I've had trouble with them lately.

Well I best get off here and get to bed. Have to get up early to run in the morning, then get Hannah to school earlier since they start the drop-off line tomorrow.

Hope everyone affected by the hurricane is doing okay. *Hugs to all of you*

Hi girls! Back from my weekend away...

Bonita- I hope you get some answers about what's going on soon.

Mary- C25K is going well, but slowly. I've got a misaligned pelvis that screws with all the muscles in my legs so I am taking it slow. It's pretty frustrating, but I'm determined.

Jina- How are you doing? You were on my mind this weekend.

Hey Elizabeth! Welcome back (I think? lol) Smile I wonder if that might be my problem (a misaligned pelvis)? Do your hips ever hurt, especially after a long walk or running?

I went by the doctor's office this morning to make a payment and also try to get an appointment. I wanted to try and get in within the next couple of days, so the receptionist said she'd talk to a nurse and see what they could do, then she'll call me.

I went for a run this morning, but only ran 1.5 miles. I could have run further, but my heart started racing. I took my pulse and estimated it to be over 200, so I stopped to walk. Not sure what that was all about. Gah. Hopefully it was just a fluke thing. It was very humid this morning. My hips seemed to handle it okay, though. They don't hurt any worse than they did before (and it's not like I'm in extreme pain or anything).

I didn't make it to Hannah's school until right at 8:45 this morning, but there was no line to wait in. There were only 2 cars in the drop-off line, lol. It wasn't until I came back out from dropping Hannah off at her classroom that the line started to get long.

Oh by the way, DH and I decided to switch to 'actively trying' yesterday morning and put in the extra effort to seal the deal. Now let's just hope I ovulate today like I have been for the past couple of months. I haven't done opks this month, so I'll just have to wait and see if my temp goes up tomorrow. The signs seem to be pointing toward O'ing today, so we'll see.

Alissa, thank you. No, I didn’t get a MacBook. I just couldn’t be that cruel to my hubby…lol. I ended up getting a fully upgraded Dell Xps 15z and I absolutely love it. The screen resolution is amazing. It’s just like watching our 1080p TV. I’m very happy with it….I actually like a way better than the MacBook…..but don’t tell my hubby that! Wink

Omgosh, I love spaghetti and Overboard. I hope you had fun!

Bonita, I’m sorry your cycle is messing with you. I hope it goes back to normal asap. You should definitely talk to your doctor. Hopefully he/she will have some answers for you.

Mary, I’m glad Hannah had a great first day. I’m sure she loves spending time with new friends. Biggrin

I’m sorry your run didn’t go as well as you’d hoped. I still think you’re doing amazing….don’t push yourself too hard….it wouldn’t be good to seriously hurt yourself and have to take more time to heal.

That’s crazy about the kid studying so much! I think in India they HAVE to study that much because in order to get in to college you absolutely have to have excellent grades. I don’t know….I would be afraid to push my kid so hard. I grew up with my parents pushing me way too hard (I’m Asian) and when I got to High School I rebelled. HARD. I was told I was going to be a doctor since I was old enough to talk and that was that. Any other profession was forbidden. I wasn’t allowed to have sleepovers….actually, I wasn’t allowed to do much of anything but study. Um….yeah, I’m not a doctor and I don’t have a very good relationship with my parents. On the other hand, my hubby showed an interest in programming at a very early age. He started taking apart computers when he was 10 years old and wrote his first program when he was 11 or 12. No one forced it on him and guess what he does for a living now? Yup, he is a software engineer and he loves it. He can’t get enough of it. And while he might not be a millionaire he makes a very respectable income and more importantly, he’s happy. That’s the approach I want to take. If I see my child showing an interest in something…I don’t care what it is I am going to do everything in my power to make sure he/she has the tools he/she needs to nurture his or her curiosity.
Sophia, Hi!

Elizabeth, I hope you had fun on your trip and thanks for thinking of me. Oh and Happy Anniversary! Biggrin

AFM, I had my D&C on Friday and I’m so glad it’s over. I don’t know why I thought I would be completely back to normal after the D&C. I’m so far from getting back to normal it’s a bit depressing. BUT, the good news is I am no longer pregnant (haha…it feels weird to say that). My OB was very happy with the tissue sample she got so all in all it was a success. I can’t wait to get the results back. Thanks everyone for keeping me in your thoughts.

My hubby’s 30th was this weekend and the poor guy had to take care of me all weekend. He was really great and I think it brought us closer. We are very optimistic about our future. I dunno….this is our 3rd loss and I’m actually okay. I still haven’t cried and I don’t think I’m going to. I remember being so devastated after my second loss but this time I’m…..not. I am just moving on and looking forward to testing. This is a very strange feeling for me. I guess I was expecting to break down after the D&C but I feel (I feel strange saying this) good. Maybe I’ve turned into a cold person. Maybe I no longer feel pain when it comes to miscarriages. I dunno what the reason is but I’m very glad to be moving on.

Jina - I don't think that you're turning into a cold person. I think that we deal with losses in different ways, and that maybe you're also still processing it all, and maybe you never let your hopes get too high in the first place because of everything that has happened and because you knew that it was a high risk pregnancy because of the twins. Hugs again and again.

Mary - I can't imagine a kid studying that much. I agree with Jina, I don't think I will be pushing my son that hard. I want him to figure out what he loves and do that because he loves it. It's almost impossible to tell at 3, but at this point I could see him having a career in music or cooking, because he is extremely interested in those things. Whatever he decides I will support and help him with, but I want him to figure out what he loves. My parents pushed school really hard when I was a kid, and I was a really good student but I have to say that in the long run I don't think it has served me that well because I never really figured out what I wanted to do - I just kind of fell into a job that it turns out I am pretty good at, but I don't really love. I kind of wish that I had developed more hobbies and interests outside of school when I was a kid, because then maybe that would have given me better direction in looking for a career that I love instead of just something that I'm good at and isn't intolerable.

Elizabeth - Welcome back! Did you have fun?

Mary - That's cool that you guys have decided to actively try this month. Good luck!!!

AFM - Not much going on. I am going to call the dr today to start getting some of the testing set up since AF showed up this weekend and seems to be normal. Hope that everyone is having a great day!

I started AF today. While never fun, I am glad nothing is wrong.

I think it was Jan 2010. Not for sure though.

No, I don't think you are a cold person. It is almost like a first love, you never love again like that. You never grieve again the same way after you have that first m/c. I think you guard your heart a little closer in later pgs. Like an innocence lost. So sorry you are going through this.

HI Mary!! Yes, I lurk quite a bit. I feel weird sometimes because there's pretty much one thing on my mind, and I SWEAR that I have many other aspects right now.

I am really excited you guys are "actively trying" now. YAY!!!!

Jina - You are so amazing. You know you are. I really hope they find something that will help with these tests.

Bonita - Glad that AF finally showed,

Hi Sophia.

Well, AFM, (and I'm sorry I don't have much else to talk about) I'm in my 2ww. I'm not sure what to do about my temps. I swear they are wrong. According to my body and what I think is going on, I should be about 5 or so DPO. But my temps have been SCREWY. I went ahead and put in a manual overide for my O date and coverline. I have been going through my days thinking of symptoms and it's driving me crazy. Like - my gums hurt. I have partially exposed wisdom teeth, and I haven't had any problems with them except with the last pregnancy, SO I keep thinking.. Maybe? Or when I smell something. Ugh, I'm driving myself crazy.
