Default Getting to know each other~Question of the Week (Jan 9-15)

What is a typical weekday like for you? Briefly describe what your day is like from beginning to end (just highlights; a schedule isn't necessary unless you just want to share it).

Jina - I about spilled my cup of hot apple cider all over laughing. I do my share of peeing on a stick too. My day is more the following:

    Early alarm to take temp/progesterone
Snooze another thirty minutes while DH showers and cuddle with pups(I have two mutts)
    Shower and getdressed
Read work and personal email - deal with any issues in Europe over breakfast email Ialso take forever to swallow my vitamins
    Drive two miles to work
Work, spend lots of time in meetings and obsessing over last stick I peed on, next dr appt, etc.
Grab lunch either home or out, run by lab for bloodwork then back to work (it seems they like to check my levels every three days)
Back to work, more obsessing when I need a break.
Try to leave when DH tells me hes on the way home, we try toeat dinner together a couple days a week, a couple days a week we play tennis or walk or other.
We play with pups then watch TV, read or just talk in bed, I usually fall asleep early.
Pretty boring - recently sub crafts for tennis

    ROFL Jina!

I wake up at five to take temp, lay around til seven, get a shower, get the kids ready for the day, drop Ainsley at babysitter, take Aidan to school. I teach at his school, so at least I don't have to drive even more. after school- pick Ainsley up, pick DH up fom work, go home, make dinner, then we usually have two or three church related meetings. One before the kids go to bed, one after. If I'm not working that day it looks a little different.

    Jina -

    My typical weekday --

~Wake to cell phone alarm, take temp if I feel like it that day, snuggle/play with cat (DH gets up earlier), get up and stumble into kitchen to make coffee, get myself ready, eat breakfast, devotional, might check an email or two and/or watch the news.
~Wake DD up, drag her out of bed, supervise her getting ready for school (ya know, to make sure she doesn't wear one pink and one purple sock ).
~Do DD's hair (she brushes it, but well... it's THICK... and she has a LOT of it. So yah. I do it.
~Drive DD to school (she eats a to-go breakfast on the way)
~Some days drive back home and do computer work/check emails/work on my book, sometimes make phone calls; try to do some house cleaning and/or laundry; other days go visit my dad in the ALH until it's time to go pick up my DD.
~Pick up DD from school at Noon, run errands in town if I have any, take her to the park or come home and let her play outside after lunch while I do more housework or other computer work.
~Somewhere in there get my "scheduled" exercise for the day. Today my DD and I went for a 30-min walk together.
~Cook/eat dinner, clean up kitchen, might watch a little TV with DH and/or DD or check emails, go on FB, etc., then make sure DD gets her bath and gets ready for bed, read her books, prayers, lights out.
~After she goes to bed is my down time (DH is an early-to-bed person), so I'll usually read, do devotional, and/or come on p.org and/or work on my book. Sometime before bed I prepare for the next day (lay out clothes, put my DD's school snack in her snack pack, etc.).

All the cleaning and driving ladies! I guess it's in my day but I don't like to talk about it....I'm in denial about cleaning. The more I avoid it the better I feel.

I'm glad you guys find my life so amusing.......just kidding.

Seriously, though, it really does feel like that's all I do these days.

You guys are all so productive....I feel like a lazy sloth compared to you ladies!

I'm not as productive as I'd like to be... oh to be one of those super-women who can keep their house spotless! I gave up on that dream a long time ago, LOL. I don't see how they do it. I guess I'm just not cut out for it. Either that or I just don't want to clean all the time and not have time for anything else! I like my down-time too much
