I hope the witch goes easy on you if she shows. Have fun at your event tonight...how neat getting to wear your wedding dress again. I've been married 12 years and haven't had another opportunity to wear mine. ;)

Don't be nervous about possibly being preggers. I know most docs say wait but it's really precautionary b/c they just don't know. Many women have gotten pregnant and gone on to have healthy babies. I think the concern is a thin lining following a D&C but you've had a long cycle...a good chance your body has worked that out already.

AF is here! :yipee:

About 6 months ago when I went for my annual checkup, I asked my Dr. why I was getting spotting for so long leading up to AF. It wasn't just a couple days, we're talking weeks of spotting. So, he basically said that my body was 'free wheeling' and the only way to make that stop was to either go back on the pill, or get pregnant. The pill makes me crazy, and we wanted to start TTC anyways.

For the last year or more, I was getting a couple of days of spotting leading up to AF, but since last Christmas, those days of spotting started to increase. I've been so used to getting the spotting that I was super surprised that AF just showed with full force. Fine by me. DH gave me a high five this morning because he's excited too! LOL! What a guy.

We're looking forward to this event tonight, should be a good time! I'll try to get a couple of pictures to show you guys!

Having a tiny bit of nausea off and on here, but highly doubt it means anything this early and it's probably just in my head. Need to put my chart back in my siggy just for this 2-week period so you guys can stalk me if you want, or at least know where I am in the 2ww. I haven't bought a thermometer yet to start temping again, I've been holding off and debating whether or not I really want to temp. It's easier for me to relax and not think about it until time for AF if I'm not temping. kwim?

Mary - wishing you tons of luck. I can;t imagine how TTC must be for you. I'm getting impatient and we've only been working on this since June!

Stalk all you want, but for some reason I'm really not feeling optimistic about this cycle. I might test tomorrow anyway. I usually get a BFP at 9/10dpo.

Jessica - I love that you get to wear your wedding dresses to the event (and for a good cause too). I would love an opportunity to wear my dress again.... if it still fits that is.

We weren't trying this last cycle so I was not surprised to get AF. I was surprised how annoyed / miserable it made me feel. Have had another two friends announce pregnancies this week and 1 last week. I think DH is on board with trying again this month and I think I'm only making myself worse waiting so, fingers crossed the journey isn't too long this time around.

BFN for me today. I'm 8/9dpo, so it's probably early. This cycle looks a lot like the cycle we conceived #3 and with him I had a BFN at 8/9dpo and a BFP at 9/10dpo, so I'm hoping I get better news tomorrow. I'll definitely be on if I do.

It was a pretty fun event! Now I'm trying to decide what to do with my dress.. I've worn it twice, and wonder if it'll ever fit again. It's pretty snug in the rib area, and gets a bit painful after a couple of hours. I feel like I should sell it, or donate it (there's a charity here that sells wedding dresses and the profits go to breast cancer), but there's a part of me that doesn't want to let it go.

It's hard when friends start announcing their pregnancies and you're still waiting.. I haven't been doing myself any favors by lurking around the April 2013 board either. Seeing where all of the other ladies are at in their pregnancies is harder than I thought it'd be, although I'm very happy for all of them too. I would have been between 17-18 weeks now :(

Nothing exciting going on with me lately, still waiting to O. Will be another week or more before I do. I had to go buy a new BBT tonight because I'm thinking the battery is going on my current one. I'm going to get a new battery to use the other as a backup, but I couldn't find the right size at the store and they didn't sell less than 8 batteries in a pack! My old BBT might have been fine, but I've been getting flat temps, and have gotten the exact same temp 5 out of the 9 days this cycle.

Jessica - *Hugs* As for your thermometer, I've had cycles where I had flat temps for 5 or so days in a row (back when I was temping). So weird when that happens.

Pico - Sorry about the BFN, but as long as AF isn't here yet there's still hope. How are you feeling at 12dpo?


As for me, thought it might be good that I hadn't had any spotting yet (usually start to spot a few days before AF), but alas, just went to the bathroom and there was the tiniest bit on the TP, very light brownish but sometimes that's how it starts. Cramping a bit today and it just feels like AF is imminent so I'm gonna say I'm out.

It was nice to dream for a couple of weeks. Now I'll go back to not thinking about ttc until the next rare event happens for us. :)

On a positive note, I'll be able to continue the workout program I just started a few days ago: Turbo Fire. It is SO INTENSE, but oh-so-much-FUN! :boogie:
