Question miscarrage 4 weeks ago.. am i pregnant?

Hello Ladies.. Heres a breif history of me.. im 22yesr old TTC. I Found out in Dec 2010 I was pregnant. It was unexpected and very scared but we soon got use to the idea and became excited. By the end of january I had a miscarrage calld a blighted ovraum(sorry about my spelling) I had a D&C as i was going on vacation 3 days later and didnt want anything to happen. We were broken but were really to "really" try this time. And to my suprise I found out I was pregnant on May 15. We were sooo excited!! after 4 very faint plus signs i got a blood test that confirmed my pregnany. exactly one week later (may 22) i started bleeding and cramping badly and went to the ER were they said i was having an eary miscarrage ("chemical pregnancy") once again we felt crushed. so here i am 4 weeks and two days later. my period has always been on schedule for as long as i can remember.. is it true you still ovulate 14 days from the first day for a chemical pregnancy.. I know we had unprotected sex several times.. i should of got my period 2 days ago but have not.. about a week/week in a half ago i had cramps and felt like my uterous was kinda being squeezed and or streched but not to bad. I also have some breast tenderness and my nipples are somewhat sore. I have some little white dots things on them to ( i know TMI) And i had so much salavia in my mouth its crazy! which was always an early symptom for me in the past. and just a little bit of tiredness and a little faintish at time. Peeing all the time and a little bit of heart burn. 2 days ago i took a clear blue pregnancy test that lookd like a verly light positive. i mean very light.. than i took a digital one (also clearblue) yesterday morning at it was a negative.. I'm going crazy and just want to know!!! Is it to early to tell yet? what do you ladies think? any clues to what might be going with me? do you think i really am pregnant? Am i just thinking to hard and making my self think im pregnant?

I'm so sorry for your loss.

With any loss, how quickly a woman's cycle returns to "normal" will vary. Generally with a chemical pg your body should return to a regular cycle right away but that's not always the case. Some women ovulate much later and some not at all. If you are pg you may have ovulated later than usual, because your tests shouldn't be that light if you are already late.

I know that the blue-dye tests are prone to false positives and bad evaps, and I hope that's not the case for you, but if you can, you should retest with a pink dye test (like the dollar tree). If you are pg it may just be too early for the digi to pick it up as they are generally less sensitive than other tests. Good luck.

So i took another HPT this afternoon ( i know not morning) and it was a BFN. So I have no idea whats going on. I dont keep track of when i ovulate exactly because it is always 14 days after my last period tho i have noticed.. do people normally count first day of an early miscarrage as AF?? After my first MC and had a D&C i had AF 5 weeks after.. but i just figured with surgery it would take a little longer as i was 9 weeks when i had surgery.. after my second miscarrage my HCG level the day before surgery was only 10 and day of my miscarrage it was 2 (NP). I'm just trying not to get my hopes but.. but i think its to late. I take a baby aspirin and pre natal vitamin since my last MC per doctors order. I dont take anything but tylenol and cut caffine completly out of my diet.. I just wish i knew what was going on!!! I guess Ill take the other test in the morning and see what happens.

    thanks for everyones inputs!!

It takes awhile for your body to get back to normal after a m/c. If you were to go back through the pages of this board you would find several posts from people asking the same thing. It is very normal. Sorry for your loss.

My last m/c was a chemical pg and it took a few cycles for things to get back to normal for me. Sometimes your body just needs to go through a time of adjustment before getting back on track. As much as this may be unpleasant to hear, DH and I took a break from ttc after my chemical to give my body a chance to recover. That break worked. Just something to think about.

I'm so sorry you aren't getting anything conclusive from your body. But some times when you think you're normal after a D&C, then all of a sudden it gets a little quarky again. It does sound like things my not be "normal" for your after this loss. I'm sorry you are going through this, and I hope you get some good answers soon.

Sorry for your loss, I too experience the same thing as you my first mc was considered a blighted ovum, and was told i could try again when i was emotionally ready, well tried as soon as i got clearance from the doctor and tried again immediately. My second mc was actually due to lack of folic acid, where i gave birth to my son Tre'shaune 5/28/11. 3 Weeks later my husband and i messed around now im having the breast tenderness and excessive saliva, but i see im discharging with part blood....i thinking what were going through is our body in a relapse state since we've both had two MC in a row. Our bodies dont kno whether to act pg or be normal. I think its ur body giving u signs that it's out of whack and it trying to go back to normal.
