I live in Boston, MA. I lost my twins to pprom at 15 weeks a few months ago. They were a result of our fourth IVF attempt. I was very unhappy with the experience I had with my doctor and hospital. We are looking to try again and would like to find a new care team. If anyone is in the area and has had a good experience with their doctor and hospital, could you please let me know? Specifically, I'd like someone who is familiar with pprom and who tries to work with pprom patients...not just encourage and push termination. A doctor who would administer antibiotics if pprom happens, be willing to prescribe bedrest in the event of pprom, admit pprom patients to the hospital for observation, and be open to delayed interval deliveries in multiple pregnancies. My doctors refused to give me antibiotics or prescribe bedrest when I ppromed. I begged them to keep me overnight in the hospital for observation when I ppromed and they refused. I ended up delivering Baby A at home a few days later. Baby B was still inside and healthy. I begged them to allow me to continue the pregnancy and do a delayed interval delivery ( antibiotics, cerclage) and they refused. They even refused to cut/ligate Baby As protruding cord which would literally dip into the toilet every time I had to use the restroom. I ended up getting an ascending infection and had to terminate Baby B. I am traumatized by my experience and would like a new doctor and hospital. If anyone can refer me to one in the area I would greatly appreciate it.
