Question of the Week (Month?) ~ Apr 16

3-part question:

a) What time do you have to get up most mornings?
b) How do you wake up (alarm clock, cell phone alarm, sunlight, etc.)?
c) Do you get up right away or hit the snooze button?

I love seeing what questions you'll come up with! (and may steal some of them for the board I co-host!)

a) Work mornings, I get up at 5am. On my days off I try as hard as I can to sleep till 7, but my two little live alarm clocks don't usually allow that to happen.

b) Cell phone alarm.

c) Work mornings, I get up right away. I have such a routine on those mornings! I do hit snooze, but not because I'm sleeping in. Each 10 minutes, it goes off again and that is the reminder for me (and for DD) that it is time to move on to the next part of getting ready.

i.e. 5:20 I get her out of bed and we snuggle on the couch. 5:30 time for breakfast 5:40 time to get her dressed 5:50 buffer ten minutes since we are never running quite on time 6:00 time to get shoes on and get in the car

Glad you look forward to my questions Biggrin I wasn't sure how much of an interest people had of the weekly/monthly questions.

I love how you hit the snooze every 10 min on work mornings to take you to the next step. Great idea!

Here are my answers: **Child ment**

a) What time do you have to get up most mornings?
Weekdays: 7 am. My DD is a late night owl so I have to wake her up most mornings. Right now she is in VPK and doesn't have to be at school until 9am.

Weekend: It varies, sometimes 7 or 7:30, other times as late as 8:30 or 9. No alarm on those mornings, even on Sundays when we go to church because I very rarely oversleep. If we go to the early service, we don't have to be there until 9:40 so I usually wake up early enough.

b) How do you wake up (alarm clock, cell phone alarm, sunlight, etc.)?
Cell phone alarm.

c) Do you get up right away or hit the snooze button?
Most of the time I get up right away, but sometimes will hit snooze once (my snooze sets for 15 min ahead), and on very rare occasions, I'll hit it twice and not get up until 7:30, then rush like a mad woman, lol.

By the way, my DH never uses an alarm, yet he always wakes up in time to get ready for work. I think there was only one or two occasions since we've been married that I had to wake him up.

b) Multiple alarm clocks, I'm a slow waker. I have the 'early alarm' i turn off and then my 'get up alarm' after i've snooze and come from deep sleep to light sleep
c) see b.. need that snooze wake up time
