severe defects PG MENTS

i am meeting with a genetic counselor on tuesday to discuss the passing of my baby. i am currently 11 weeks pg, but my baby won't live much more than a week or two more. the baby has defects and it completely took dh and i by surprise. we have no idea how to process this loss. the sense of pain is much greater than our two previous losses.

when we do resume ttc again, we think we should have a male donor, as we know one of the defects in turner's syndrome - a severe case. has anyone had losses from defects and been advised to use a donor after?

this pain is tremendous. it hurts even more that i know the pg isn't over yet... but will be very soon. i could use some advice from those who have been here.

Oh no, I am so sorry to hear this. You and your family are in my thoughts....

I have no advice as I've never been in your situation. I can't even begin to imagine how painful it must be for you and your family right now. Please know that we are all here for you.

I am so sorry for all of the pain and confusion and grief that I am sure you are going through.

I wish I had some words of advice, but I don't. So instead I'll just hug.
