Too good to be true (m/c ment)

So, I got all excited for nothing, I should have known better Sad I had a full week of nice, clear, easy to see BFPs and a beta to confirm, but I woke up with terrible cramps this morning and started to bleed throughout the day. Back to CD1. Again. If anything good came of this, it's that the Dr finally did all of the bloodwork that I requested.

I am SO bloated and I feel disgusting. I just hope that the bleeding picks up speed and is over in the next couple of days just like regular AF would be.

Jessica, I am so, so sorry. I had an early loss a few months after my d&c, too. It was so hard emotionally, but it was way easier physically. It was really just like a normal AF. I hope things are over for you quickly. Are you going to continue TTC or take some time off? Did you end up getting the second beta and progesterone done anyway? Has your doctor had anything to say about it? My doctor stuck with the "these things just happen" line which didn't feel helpful at all. I really hope it's just a string of bad luck for you and it turns around soon. :bighug:

My doctor was pretty good about it, well, his receptionist who was relaying the info between us was a huge help. He has a tight schedule, and I can't really take any time off work to go see him. My hcg went down to 14 on Tuesday from 20 on Friday, and my progesterone was only at 2.7 on Tuesday. The receptionist tried to assure me that even though its very low, it's not out of the normal range for post ovulation, but I know that it's reeeeally low.

They're referring me out to a fertility specialist who will keep me on as a high risk patient when we get pregnant again. I hope I get a call to set up the first appointment with the new doctor soon so we know what to do from here. In the meantime, we're going to keep TTC. I didn't take a break from temping, and I figure that's something that the specialist would like to see.

PS. Thank you all for your support, knowing you're all on my side makes me feel better Smile

I'm glad you have a plan. I hope you don't need the specialist, but if you do end up seeing one I hope s/he is helpful.
And it can work out even after a BO and an early m/c!
