trisomy 18 MC Ment

i know everyone had has a mc on here but i feel i should still give a warning.

we just got the results from the baby's chromosomal work up - trisomy 18. the week little baby never had a change - really no chance - at living.

i feel some closure but i still miss it terribly.

I'm really sorry for your loss but I am glad you were able to get some answers.

Testing was only offered in my area with multiple losses. I do have a friend who lost her daughter around 15 weeks with Turners.

I had a Turner's m/c 2 years ago. It was my first m/c but we decided to do the testing anyways. It did help me to know that there was something with our baby and that there really was no chance at survival and that my body did the right thing since it knew that. We were told by our RE that we were at no increased risk of Turner's if we were to acheive pregnancy again.

We don't know the cause of our m/c. We sent out for testing and hoping for information in January.

I am so sorry again for your loss. But, as Jina said, I am glad that you have an answer.
