    Name/nickname: Mary

    Your Age/DH or SO's age: 43/41

Type of Work you Do: WAHM (Computers); odd jobs

Current TTC Status (waiting, JLIH, actively trying, etc.): Mostly JLIH

If currently ttc, where are you in your cycle right now (if you know)? WTO (see ticker in siggy)

Vents/struggles this week: Another month gone by with no BFP. ~Sigh~

Positives this week: God is so good; He's showing me things about myself and answering prayer and working in my life and in DH's life.

What you did for yourself from the last update and how it went: I was supposed to rent a good chick flick and watch it while Hannah was in school, but ummm, oops, I never did. I just always seemed to have other things to do that got in the way and then forgot about it. I will try my best to do it sometime this week.

Anything else you want to add: I look forward to getting my computer back.

    Name/nickname: Elizabeth

    Your Age/DH or SO's age: 27/27

Type of Work you Do: Pastor, SAHM

Current TTC Status (waiting, JLIH, actively trying, etc.): actively trying. But I'm so over it right now.

If currently ttc, where are you in your cycle right now (if you know)? 9.

Vents/struggles this week: An acquaintance asked me to help plan the city's halloween celebration and I feel like she's totally dropping the ball and pushing it on me. I've got a lot to do with the church and I'm really not impressed. I'm just afraid she's going to say bad things about me in the city if I don't do everything. She won't return my emails and then texts my husband to ask me to call her. Um, you can call me. You're the one in charge and I'm the one contacting you. Grr. How did I get involved in this in the first place?! Okay... vent over... lol

Positives this week: Lots! We're heading in a new direction with our leadership team in the Church and I'm really excited about it.

What you did for yourself from the last update and how it went: I actually did it! When I had my miscarriage, my bestie told me she wanted to pay to get my hair done and I didn't take her up on it. Finally did... got over 12 inches cut off and highlighted. I feel so much better.

Anything else you want to add: I told you girls that I got my permanent residence... well my dh and best friend threw me a surprise party to celebrate! It was so wonderful. A lot of people showed up and everyone wore Canadian themed clothes, and there was Canadian themed food. Even a Canadian flag made out of cupcakes. I felt very loved.

Elizabeth, that party sounds awesome!!! How sweet of them to throw you a surprise party!!!

    Name/nickname: Alissa

    Your Age/DH or SO's age: 31/30

Type of Work you Do: Financial

Current TTC Status (waiting, JLIH, actively trying, etc.): waiting

If currently ttc, where are you in your cycle right now (if you know)? CD 29

Vents/struggles this week: Actually, I don't have any that I can really think of. How lucky am I? LOL

Positives this week: You guys, I feel AMAZING. I am going to post more about it on the chat thread, but basically, I think that the Synthroid that they gave me for my hypothyroidism is working. I didn't even realize how crappy I felt before, but just in the last couple of days, I have been feeling so so so much better.

What you did for yourself from the last update and how it went: I missed the last update, so I didn't do anything. *Blush*

Anything else you want to add: We've got a super busy weekend this week. Wish me luck!

    Name/nickname: Harmony

    Your Age/DH or SO's age: 31 & 40

Type of Work you Do: Office

Current TTC Status (waiting, JLIH, actively trying, etc.): active

If currently ttc, where are you in your cycle right now (if you know)? CD 11 - Usually have IUI done on CD13 - so anxiously doing OPKs now.

Vents/struggles this week: Just deciding that if this (our last) IUI doesn't work, what we're going to do - IVF, adoption or just leave it be.

Positives this week: My DS turned 2!

What you did for yourself from the last update and how it went:

Anything else you want to add: A family member is TTC #1 and is currently pg... but having troubles. She doesn't have the support I wish she had and we're so far away that I can't do too much but listen and be there for her. It's frustrating and not fair - I wish nobody had to go through what we went/are going through.

Vents/struggles this week: more girls I know are pg!!!! Yet not me!!!

Positives this week: steadily losing weight at 1 lb/wk while admittedly still eating terribly, thanks to running

What you did for yourself from the last update and how it went: ...yeah, I did not do early morning yoga as I had hoped. Oops!

Anything else you want to add: We are having a consultation with the fertility clinic Tues Sept 27. I'm hopeful and a little excited, but scared it will be a disappointment. What questions should I be asking?

I'm not sure of your situation or why you're going to clinic but I asked questions based on:

    1) What kind of testing do we need to do now? later?
    2) Are there any fees for the procedures?
    3) What should we each be doing to prepare for tests/procedures?
    4) How long until we do it? How long can we do it? How often can we do it? (if you're having IUI, IVF or any procedure done).
    5) Is there any support offered and how do I access that?

Other than that, it would be any specific (if you're doing a procedure of taking medication, side effects are always a good question).

    GOOD LUCK!!!
