So... I had 2 IUI's over the weekend. One Saturday morning and one Sunday morning! I didn't get to sleep in at all over the weekend :-( WAH!
So... found out that on Thurs, my Lh was at 19 or 19.5 (can't remember what she said)... my body was preparing to O on it's own so they had me go ahead with the trigger. The nurse said she has no doubt in her mind that the follies were where they needed to be for O (which happened Saturday after my first IUI).
My PL on Saturday was 0.78, hence the reason they wanted me to come back for another IUI. DH's count was 60 million!!!! We got to see it under the microscope!! It was so cool!
Sunday- 2nd IUI. DH's count was around 30 million :-) woo hoo! Just got my PL from yesterday... it was at 1.53 so it doubled from Saturday! I'm keeping everything crossed that things happened they way they were supposed to!
I had O cramping Saturday night on the right side. And yesterday (late morning/early afteroon) I had MAJOR O cramping on the left side! I'm hoping that's a good thing!
I started the progesterone suppositories last night... bring on my alter ego! Progesterone always makes me a super B*tch! I HATE it... but if it helps.... then BRING IT ON!!!!
-
So.... got a BFP yesterday morning :-) And another one this morning!! They are super light, but the lines are there! Even DH saw them when he was half asleep, LOL!
I went for blood work this morning... the wait until 2pm is going to KILL me!!! UGH!
I'm really scared though. My tests in July were really light and we all know how that one ended :-(
My brother is going to be sooo mad... I was supposed to do his wedding cake in the beginning of August!! August 2nd they are getting married... that is actually my due date!!! LOL! too funny!
I'm keeping everything crossed that my hcg comes back good. Once I hit 6 weeks, with NO spotting, I will be ecstatic... right now, I'm too nervous to be excited!

Here are the HPT pics... the lines are more blue in person.. in the pics they look a little grayish.

IMpatiently waiting for my b/w results....
-
I'm so unbelievably frustrated... blood work results are not good.
PL: 11.6 -it was 15.7 a week ago
hcg: 3 So... how can I get a positive on an HPT if my level is only a freaking 3????? It doesn't make any sense.
I have to go back on Thursday for more bloodwork... just in case there was a lab error.
I don't think I can do this anymore... I just can't... it hurts so much.
-
so... started spotting this morning *sigh* Guess it's on to a new cycle...
-
So, we are trying Clomid and gonal-f this cycle... Today is my last day of Clomid... Thurs. I have u/s and b/w. Depending on what that shows, I will probably start injections Thurs. night.
I'm praying for good news on Thurs!
-
b/w and u/s this morning.... 6am... BLAH!
Had 4-5 follies on each side measuring 6-9mm... so far so good.
I find out at 2:30 how much gonal-f I will be injecting... RE also wants to monitor me more closely so my next appt will be over the weekend. Nothing sucks more than having to get up EARLY on a weekend :-( Ah well... it's worth it in the end!!
I soooo want a BFP for Christmas... think Santa will bring me one???
-
I was supposed to start 150IU injections of gonal-f last night.... I didn't. Call me crazy, but I just can't do it. I know I did it last cycle, but, quite honestly, I don't see how it made any more of a difference in follicle growth that just the Clomid. I'm just too stressed out when I do the injections and stress is not good for follicular development. So it's really a catch-22 -do the injections to help follicular growth but the stress inhibits the growth... *sigh* I'm just so confused and emotional right now.
But the long and the short of it is... I just can't bring myself to do the injections :-( I feel like such a wimp! I think DH and I will try a couple more round of Clomid, probably at a higher dose and see how it goes... if the Clomid just doesn't work, maybe I'll feel differently about the injections. Who knows :-(

So, I had b/w and u/s yesterday. I ad 1 follie measuring 15mm on the right, and there was another one there, smaller, I didn't get the measurement, but it looked around 12-ish. Then on the left, there was a 14mm and another smaller one (probably like 9 or 10). So, I was happy... until I got my b/w results.
Estradiol - 86
Lh - 5.87
Progesterone - 0.31
I have another appt. tomorrow morning... I did some research online and it looks as if sometimes your levels stay put and/or decrease slightly right before your surge. I'm hoping this is the case, but who knows.
On Dec. 6th, my levels were:
Estradiol - 87
Lh - 6.8
Progesterone - 0.43
-
so, because I'm OCD and can't just let things go... LOL... I found the following:
Menstruating female (day of cycle relative to LH peak):
Follicular (-12): 19-83 pg/mL
Follicular (-4): 64-183 pg/mL
Midcycle (-1): 150-528 pg/mL
Luteal (+2): 58-157 pg/mL
Luteal (+6): 60-211 pg/mL
Luteal (+12): 55-150 pg/mL
Postmenopausal (untreated): 0-31 pg/mL
and on another site:
During the early part of the menstrual cycle, estradiol levels remain nearly constant. This is followed by a rapid increase reaching a peak the day before or the day of the Leutinizing Hormone (LH) surge (ovulation). It is generally believed that the rise in estradiol is the factor which triggers LH release. Following ovulation there is a drop in estradiol followed by a second rise which corresponds with the formation of the corpus luteum.
I know this doesn't relate to me, cause I'm not middle-aged, but I thought it was interesting:
Low serum levels of estradiol and its urinary metabolites are significantly associated with the development of knee osteoarthritis in middle-aged women, researchers report in the August issue of Arthritis and Rheumatism.
