I've read alot of places to start taking prenatal vitamins when you are trying to concieve and I have also heard about supplements like FertilAid they are prenatal vitamins and also help with fertility. Does anyone have any recommendations on prenantal vitamins? And has anyone tried FertilAid or anything similar?
My dr prescribed Natachew's - a prenatal vitamin. My RE told me to supplement the Natachew's with folic acid. I started taking prenatals over a year ago. My RE said these vitamins are good to take all the time, not just when TTC or pg![]()

I am just taking a generic brand of Prenantals (which my doc said was perfectly fine) My doc. wanted me to take them as soon as we started TTC again. She said that its good to have them in your system at least a month before you get pregnant.
I take twinlabs prenatal. In the long run as long as you take them you should be good...no matter what the brand. I know with some people that brands do make a difference in terms of how there tummy does with them. I take mine at night before I go to bed and they don't give me a problem. One thing I will say is to make sure you drink plenty of water or it could contribute to you not taking well to them...such as constipation. HTH![]()

I'm taking the Costco brand, plus an extra folic acid. I want to have them in my system for as much of a pregnancy as possible.
