I just wanted to say that I'd like to read about your journey with sperm separation and IUI. Don't worry about stupid judgemental people. Screw 'Em I say!
(That should be a hapy cry face!)
Thank you... I've had so many lovely PMs (thank you Tammy!) and now this... I really thought people would be bothered by this? I mean, in the UK it's a taboo. Not that fact I'm thinking of it from the medical point of view (multiple unexplained MC so we'll be checking for abnormalities too), but from the point that I'm also hoping to get a girl out of it too. My DH and I said if we went for the IVF with PGD then we'd definately want to know the gender of the embryo's tested but even if they came back and said all boy, we'd probably still go for it. In the end all we really want is a healthy baby, and if we don't get a girl this time, we can always look at things lie adoption in the future when our bio children are grown up.
Thank you... I'm just so shocked and overwhelmed by the amount of support I've got from everyone right now... And I am happy (but somewhat ) to admit that you girls here on PO are the closest friends I've got and the only people I really talk too....
Big hugs to all of you, and thank you so much for all the lovely things you've said to me today...
Sarah-Jean, its usually people who already have children of both sexes that don't understand the yearning for a child of a different sex that are the most judgemental. They come up with all kinds of ridiculous accusations and "reasons" for why a person shouldn't pursue the joy of raising both boys and girls. Its sad, really sad that people are that way.
