Default Time for Tiana to be a big sister!

My fiance and I have been TTC baby#2 for nearly 10 weeks now. Tiana is nearly 18 months old, and such a delightful little girl. She absolutely LOVES babies, and we're pretty sure she will make a great big sister.

We're getting married in 3 1/2 months, and have had a few family members say we should wait until then to start trying for #2, little fo they know we have been trying for this long already!

We've been together for 8 years next week, we're both 27, my fiance (Brad) is studying for his Phd, and I am working part time as a registered nurse.

I was on the pill when I fell pregnant with Tiana, so it was a bit of a shock, but we were thrilled when we found out! Right from the start she has been amazing - I had a very uneventful and enjoyable pregnancy, a pretty good birth experience, and we've had such a placid baby - we are very spoilt!

Originally we were going to start TTC this month, but I was becoming increasingly clucky, and told Brad all I wanted for my birthday in May was to begin TTC. He agreed - and now here we are nearly 10 weeks later.

I started charting last month, and it confirmed all my ovulation symptoms. I am due to O around the 17th of July, with AF due around the 31st of July. I am CD13 at the moment. Today I have started having twinges like I do when I ovulate, so I am thinking it's going to happen a little earlier this month.

So, at the moment it is just a waiting game for O to happen, then on with the BD fest!!

    Wish us luck!!

I've had a temp drop today, after a rise yesterday, that along with my symptoms makes me pretty sure I have ovulated. We started our BD fest on CD13, so hopefully all at the right time. We will continue with it until a few days after O just to be sure.

I am feeling really positive about this month - I'm not really sure why - just a feeling. Time will tell...

I came across a Chinese gender prediction calculator, and it says if we conceive in the next 4 months bubs will be a BOY

We really don't mind what we have, as long as it's as wonderful as Tiana!! Brad has said to me though, that if the next one is a girl he'd probably want to try for a boy after that. I've always wanted 3 babies - so a girl would be ideal hey?! Plus, I keep looking at all of Tiana's old clothes, I'd love to give them a second innings.

Well, in a few days I should be able to confrim that I have O'd, and will be able to really start my 2WW.

    Goodluck to everyone out there,

According to temps I still haven't O'd, but going by symptoms I have. I'm thinking I am about 5DPO. I have decided to wait until at least CD35 to test, just to give my body some extra time to get a good store of bHCG!!

Talking to a few mums yesterday from last years mother's group, I'm not the only one TTC#2. One mum has been trying since January and is feeling a little down about it, especially because it took no time at all for her to conceive her DS. I hope I can give her some support that helps.

We've been BD like crazy. DF is getting a little tired I think, and wasn't interested last night. I wasn't either I suppose, but I feel that we should be giving it our best shot. If I am 5DPO, there's no point in BD now anyway...

My nose is really stuffy today, and I'm starting to get a little bit of a headache. These are both things I did when I fell pg with Tiana, so fingers crossed.

I am still feeling really good about this month, like I have some sixth sense that this is the month. Hope I am proven right, I am so looking forward to again watching my belly gorw, and to feel a baby in there squirming around.

On to the waiting - 13 days until I see my BFP......

I just don’t know what to think. My period is due tomorrow, and I have times where I feel that it is brewing, but then I think that it’s not. I’ve decided to wait until the 5th of August to test, which isn’t that far away, but yet so far. I have a test sitting in my drawer and it has been beckoning me for a few days now. I’d love to go and use it, but then I think about wasting it if I’m not. I think how I feel like my period is about to start, so just wait. I think about if I test now, and do get a positive result, that it then adds a week to my pregnancy (in terms of knowing about it, and waiting for the end result etc). My temperatures have not even showed that I have ovulated this month, so why am I so sure I have? I had all my usual symptoms I suppose, and it was only my second cycle temping so who knows. I’ll just have to wait and see.

I have found a gorgeous maternity wedding dress on the internet, from an Australian site. It’s only $299 plus $11.95 postage and handling. I need to be pregnant now to buy that dress!

And now I am feeling nauseous and my boobs are hurting...

I can't believe it's been 14 weeks of TTC already. I hoped I would have been able to click on pregnant by now, but no such luck.

After all the sypmtoms I was having again, I really thought we had had success, but CD30 I started spotting, and then AF arrived with a venegence the next day. I am now CD6 in my 4th cycle. Please let this be the month.

I felt quite down about it when AF arrived, but am feeling better now. We start our BD fest in 4 days (CD10) just to cover all bases. I am trying my hardest to wean Tiana, but she has other ideas! My fingers are crossed tightly for this to be a good month.

Tiana is still being a beautiful little girl. She threw up in her Daddy's mouth last week, so he wasn't too impressed, but otherwise we are enjoying her immensly. We managed to get back to swimming after her being unwell for the last few weeks, so that was nice, she was so excited when she was climbing into the pool!

She's starting to stand up for herself around other kids, telling them "DON'T" when they push or hit her! She is starting to play really well with other kids now too, which is lovely.

Another friend from last years Mother's group is pregnant, just, I am starting to fell a tad jealous - why can't I be pregnant too? It'll happen...

I've ordered some of the OPK off the internet, and some HPT's, hopefully I'll be seeing lots of positive results very soon.

I'd better go already, I've got lots I need to get done around the house and for our wedding - which is now only 13 1/2 weeks away!!!!

please blow some babydust my way...
