Oh wow. I had no idea you were dealing with all of this. I hope Jus starts feeling better quickly. Did they give you any ideas on how he would feel after the surgery as far as the recovery process? I'm so glad your family has been around to help with Deacon and for support. I know how important that is during times like this. I'll be keeping you all in my prayers.
Thanks everyone! It has been crazy...you really realize how tough you can be when you need to be. Although I've had my moments in private when I just lose it.
Kayla - one of the original docs he saw said that it would be a 2 week recovery and his actual surgeon said a week. That was before they knew they were going to take the lymph nodes too so that may change the healing process?! I'm not sure.
Things are slowly getting better. I am going back to work today after an OB appt in a few minutes. I'm nervous about leaving dh by himself because every day he has had some new issue come up that worries us. I'm hoping to talk to my boss today and leave early and work from home tomorrow. I took Wed off and then we are closed thur and fri so hopefully he won't think it's a big deal.
I hope you're able to leave early today, Jenn. Just keep checking in on him - he should be fine. And your mom is home only a few blocks away, right?
Good luck with your OB appt today. I had my GBS test last week, I hate that stupid test, but it was over with quickly so it wasn't that bad! I'll be thinkin' about you! LOL!!
