Bleeding money

That is how I have been feeling the past few weeks. Money is just jumping out of my wallet. The girls need full winter wardrobes and snow boots, Isaiah needs a winter coat and snow boots, the cat pee'd on all of my shoes, so I need new work shoes, I need new fitness shoes, I need a new winter coat.... Geesh. I have been budgeting and slowly buying what we need, but I feel like I am spending a ton every week.

I could have written your post! Well, almost. Wink With the baby coming, Christmas (have to have shopping done early!), planning Miles' birthday party, plus just extra doctor bills coming in already -- not to mention the huge bills which will be coming after she's here -- money is flying out! We also need to fill our propane tank one of these days which is going to be another big expense. Ay yi yi.

We have been SUPER spoiled with Miles' clothes. My aunt has a little guy who's a year old than Miles. We were at their house yesterday and she sent us home with 3T Fall/Winter clothes, jacket & boots and all of it will be perfect for this fall/winter. I'm so glad I don't have to worry about that now. It's been getting chilly the last few days and I've had a hard time dressing him until now. So thankful for all of that!

YES, this is totally us! We did a small remodel on our house to make room for the baby and ever since it started we have needed to buy more and more to complete it. Then our A/C went out - twice! And then our dishwasher is acting up....DS bday is coming up, as well as Christmas and the birth of the baby right after. It seems like every day we get hit with something else we HAVE to pay for that we didn't budget for.

Ditto! Both kids need all new wardrobes going into winter! I keep putting that off, but need to get going on it. I am not looking forward to that expense! We also just had to buy them new shoes, we need a new couch that is more kid friendly- the kids and dogs have destroyed ours and it embarreses me to have people come over. Plus, we're coming up on DH, Ava's and Drew's b-days THEN Christmas! Cha-ching! The only part of me that's getting lighter is my wallet! Sad

Yep, yep yep! I buy as much as possible used. That is the only thing saving me at this point. DH is still not working regularly, 3 years after layoff. OUCH!

Sounds like it's in the water lately. The other night I was thinking about how much I've spent this past month!

Oy! I don't even want to think about it. I refuse to look at our checkbook. I just make sure we are good on money and I try to be as frugal as possible. Biggrin I just got a 20% off code for Kohl's. Let's hope I can put it to good use. I am not even thinking about the girls' second birthday in November or Christmas yet. Well, that is a lie, I am thinking about it, but I have not committed to spending any money on anything yet. Smile Thanks goodness we have Halloween all figured out and it should cost us nothing.
