Thread: JULY check-in!

She teaches at San Elijo Elementary. They live in a condo complex right next to the university...off of Twin Oaks I think. When we visit, we usually stay in my MIL's timeshare condos in Oceanside.

She works at my neighborhood school! (Only my boys won't be going there due to overcrowding.) I think I know which condos she lives in. I live less than 10 minutes to the west of her....closer to the school she teaches at.

What was the last carnival ride you went on? When was it? Does Disney count? heh I haven't been to the fair in 10 years. Splash Mountain at 5 am back in February was my last ride.
What's your favorite food to eat at the fair? Funnel cakes til I throw up! lol
Any plans for the 4th? At home with my parents over. The neighborhood let off fireworks across the street. We had a nice view from our backyard.
Do you have any big plans for the month of July? Dance class for Grace and swim class for Ben. Hope to make a trip to the beach.
What's new with your children? Ben is talking a lot more. Grace is riding a bike with training wheels!
What's new with your husband? Nothing. Working way too much!
What's new with you? I plan on starting a diet and exercise routine next week!

No, they grew up in the Seattle area. They both went to USC for college and she ended up marrying someone from Poway. If your boys do end up at that school, she's an amazing teacher. Her last name is Fritz.

I went to school in the Poway area I will remember her name. I'm still hoping my boys will go to that school, but it doesn't seem that there will be any changes in the next few years.

Any plans for the 4th? I went to my Dad's for the afternoon.
Do you have any big plans for the month of July? This month is full of birthday's for me. Lots to celebrate. Especially this week. Few summer party invites here and there, too.

What's new with you? I've got some work to do throughout July and August with the organization I'm volunteering for. Glad to be doing it but also wondering how I'll get it all done. Might have a couple other things to share with you all soon but I'll wait until I figure out all the details.

Any plans for the 4th? We celebrated the 1st (Canada Day) with a BBQ and fireworks.
Do you have any big plans for the month of July? Went to Wasaga beach last week. The rest of the month is work! We got final approval to be foster parents today, so hopefully a new little one is coming our way!
What's new with your children? DJ is talking up a storm in sentences even! Alicia is riding a 2 wheeler with raining wheels and has been accepted into an out-of-catchment school which makes me very very happy.
What's new with your husband? Not much...car shopping
