Hahaha! No...we are becoming foster parents. We've signed the service agreement, we are just waiting for our first placement. I would love another bio child...but my health doesn't allow for that. So we are going to help kids who need it - medically fragile children who are difficult to place in foster care. I'm hoping for a younger child...around 6 months-1year to minimize the behaviours that a child could bring into our home. I'll let you all know how its going.

    Nicole, that is great!

    Name Kayla
    LO's name(s) & age(s) Jordan is 2 and Nora is 7 weeks
What was the last carnival ride you went on? When was it? I have no idea. It's been too long.
What's your favorite food to eat at the fair? If it's the State Fair of Texas, it is always fun to try whatever crazy thing they have decided to fry. Fried oreos are surprisingly delicious! Funnel cake is always good too.
Any plans for the 4th? We had dinner with the fam but no fireworks this year. Maybe next year?
Do you have any big plans for the month of July? Just trying to get moved in to our new home. Things have been pretty crazy with the move.
What's new with your children? Jordan is continuing to talk more and it's so fun to discover all the words she knows. She is also starting to pretend more and more. Today she was feeding me apples and strawberries from her little play fridge. Yesterday she was driving her baby to the store. Nora is still pretty much in the eat, sleep, and poop stage. She does have some alert time here and there and I love getting to watch her look at the world around her with such interest.
What's new with your husband? Nothing new other than the move.
    What's new with you?
Well, obviously a new house! I was a little apprehensive about not living right in the city but it's so quiet here. My biggest thing is getting used to the bugs. There was a wolf spider right outside our back door last night and it was HUGE. If one was crawling across my floor I would freak out. I'm loving the neighborhood though. We have a lovely view from our living room and kitchen and going for walks is so nice since there is very little traffic.

How about 3? (I did resize these. We will see how long it takes photobucket to catch up. Why does it take so long??)

This one keeps cracking me up. I have one of Jordan just like this at around the same age!

Great pictures, Kayla! Take us on a photo tour once you are settled so I can drool over your new place.
