the videos of those semi-trucks being picked up and spinning in the air is CRAZY! My local news keeps showing it! I cannot believe there were nolives lost with that destruction!
The news tonight said we had between 10-12 tornadoes in North Texas today. We will find out an exact number after the damage is surveyed. The one that hit my niece's school was on video though so we know that was one of them. While they were waiting for the tornado to pass, the roof gave way and started flooding the room that they had the children in. My sister said the kids were terrified and asking to be held when she went to get my niece.
All in all, everyone is so lucky. No deaths have been reported as of ten o'clock tonight.
How terrifying, Kayla. I can't imagine. So glad you and yours are safe now.
That is very scary! I am glad that most people seem to be okay. I have not watched the semi-trailer video yet. I will try to do it today.
I hate tornado season. Quite often, we have tornado watches in the middle of the night here. I am sure it happens almost everywhere, but it seems like it is almost every time we have a severe thunderstorm watch for my part of Indiana, it is for late evening and early morning. Sometimes, I am scared to go to sleep because I fear we will not hear a siren and a tornado will hit.
I was watching the video of the semi trucks on the news last night! So scary! And those poor kids must have been just terrified when the roof blew away! I am so glad that everyone is ok!
I was so happy to hear on FB that you were okay. That one video taken with the guy's iPhone was crazy. I haven't seen the videos of the 18 wheelers yet though.
That is really scary to me about your nieces MDO! I'm really glad you're all safe.
