What's new with you and your family? Just waiting for Zoe to arrive!

Do you have anything special planned this month? Having a baby! It's also Aiden and DH's birthdays this month. Have my 6th wedding anniversary Sunday too! Nothing big planned for anything thanks to Zoe.

What are your plans for Thanksgiving? *Really* hoping Zoe will already by here by then and that I'll be out of the hospital! 41 weeks is the day before Thanksgiving. I've already made 2 sides and have them frozen. I bought frozen rolls for this year. Just need to bake the pie sometime soon to freeze. DH can always handle the turkey and a fresh vegetable side. It'll probably be a quiet family affair at home.....and of course putting up Christmas decorations that weekend! (DO YOU HEAR ME ZOE YOU HAVE TO BE HERE BEFORE THANKSGIVING!!! LOL)

If you have to bring a dish to share, what will you bring? I am going to a squadron Thanksgiving potluck tomorrow night where I'm bringing a pumpkin pie.

Will you go shopping on Black Friday? If so, for anything in particular? Probably not. Don't need anything for Christmas.

What's new with you and your family? The girls will be 3 at the end of this month. Isaiah is getting used to his new swimming schedule, and I think he likes it. Not sure he loves swimming, but I think it is a great sport for him.

Do you have anything special planned this month? We have two birthdays this month. Mine is on 11/12 and the girls' birthday is on 11/28. We don't have much planned for this month though. We need a vacation from October.

What are your plans for Thanksgiving? I think we are going to Bob Evans. It will just be us for Thanksgiving, and I do not want to cook.

If you have to bring a dish to share, what will you bring?

Will you go shopping on Black Friday? If so, for anything inparticular? Nope! I avoid all Black Friday crowds. I do not think the deals are really worth the hassle. I know that some people just have a blast with it though.

What's new with you and your family?
Not too much. Miles will be 4 this weekend. Vivi will be 1 the end of this month.

Do you have anything special planned this month?
This weekend for Miles' birthday we're going to some train show dh found out about. Then we'll go to Chuck E Cheese for dinner. Next weekend we're having a joint birthday party for the kids (A Princess & Pirate party).

What are your plans for Thanksgiving?
Not too sure yet. I think we'll be going to dh's parents...but I haven't heard any for sure plans. We'll get together with my side of the family the Saturday after.

If you have to bring a dish to share, what will you bring?
    I don't know yet!

Will you go shopping on Black Friday? If so, for anything inparticular?
    No way!

What's new with you and your family? Hmm.. Not too much same ol' same ol' for us.
Do you have anything special planned this month?
    Nope.
What are your plans for Thanksgiving?
I have no idea! Normally we go to my Grandmother's. She said she was not hosting this year, so I have no idea if someone else is stepping up to host or if she has changed her mind. I probably should find that out...
If you have to bring a dish to share, what will you bring? I never have to bring anything. My Grandma and Aunts like to take care of it all. that may change this year though.
Will you go shopping on Black Friday? If so, for anything inparticular Nah. I like to sleep too much. :P

If you have to bring a dish to share, what will you bring?
I tend to bring an appetizer (dip) or pie. Not sure what I will be doing this year.
Will you go shopping on Black Friday? If so, for anything inparticular? I love shopping Black Friday deals, but I have no idea what I'm shopping for yet this year, so I'm not sure I will be going out that day.

What's new with you and your family? Not much here. Grace finishes soccer this Saturday and started a gymnastics class. She says she wants to try cheerleading in the spring. I'm hoping she wants to play soccer again. Ben will also started a tumble class. Grace's school is having a Thanksgiving play and party so planning for that. I really enjoy being room parent for her class. The kids are so sweet and love Ben!
Do you have anything special planned this month? Not really besides Thanksgiving. My mom and I are going on a weekend trip to see The Phantom.
What are your plans for Thanksgiving? We are hosting at our house this year for 12 family members. My mom and I decided to trade off every other year.
If you have to bring a dish to share, what will you bring? Making two-thirds of everything. My favorites are Maple buttercream spice cake and pecan pie tarts.
Will you go shopping on Black Friday? If so, for anything inparticular? No way! Never have never will. I do almost all my shopping online tho.

What's new with you and your family? The kids are busy with swimming lessons. I am doing Pathfinders (Girl Guides/Scouts) on Monday nights and we are still waiting for a full-time foster but have had several good foster weekends. My neice is overdue (yay) so I will be an aunty some time soon. I am going away with my BFF for Saturday night this weekend and I am SO excited!

What are your plans for Thanksgiving?
    That was last month, lol.
If you have to bring a dish to share, what will you bring? I usually take a veggie and a dessert. This year we didn't end up going as DJ got pink eye so I made the whole deal at home for the 4 of us. It was fun, and we got all the leftovers!
Will you go shopping on Black Friday? If so, for anything inparticular? No such thing here and you couldn't pay me enough to line up at the borders to cross. [/QUOTE]

Hello, hello! Yes, I am alive!!!

What's new with you and your family? DH and I really trying to work on things. I had been taking a break from preg.org but I think I am officially ready to come back! DH is back at home and every day brings new challenges but he is committed to me and committed to being a good father to Alison so it is what it is. Just getting through a day at a time!
Do you have anything special planned this month? Just Thanksgiving. Looking forward to having a 4 day weekend.
What are your plans for Thanksgiving? At our house this year. As a family.
If you have to bring a dish to share, what will you bring? I will be making pretty much everything. With the help of both Ali and DH I am sure.
Will you go shopping on Black Friday? If so, for anything inparticular? I have never shopped black Friday and don't plan on it this year!

Kristi, I am so glad to hear that. I've been meaning to send you a message for WEEKS to check in on you. Just know that you've been on my mind!

Nicole, I was just thinking about you the other day as I passed by an adoption agency that we live near by. I looked into their foster program years ago and found out we lived too far away. I haven't checked it but we might live close enough now to do it someday. I think it's so great that you are able to do it!

Jackie, you are awesome for making sides ahead of time. You are way more organized than me.

Ashley, hold up. Vivian is already turning ONE?! Holy cow. These babies grow up so fast.

What's new with you and your family? Hmmm, not much. Somehow Nora is almost 6 months and Jordan is 2 1/2. Crazy.
Do you have anything special planned this month? Traveling for Thanksgiving... Yeah, that's a sore subject.
What are your plans for Thanksgiving? Well, DH's brother and SIL decided that THEY wanted to have Thanksgiving in Oklahoma at DH's parents house and THEY are going to stay in a relatives empty house so we are left staying with DH's parents and THEY only have to drive 2 hours where as we have to drive 8 1/2 (plus stops). I' m beyond irritated with them. They didn't put any consideration into what it would be like for us to travel so far. I was perfectly willing to travel the 5 1/2 hours to their house or have them come to us. But who am I kidding. They haven't traveled to see us in about 6 or 7 years. We travel to see them every year. Like I said, I'm upset about this.
If you have to bring a dish to share, what will you bring? Well, with all the traveling I haven't even offered but my diet is so restricted, I haven't even figured out how to make this holiday work. DH's parents live out in the middle of nowhere and the closest grocery store will not carry any special items like dairy free and soy free butter. I don't know what I'm going to eat the whole time we are there.
Will you go shopping on Black Friday? If so, for anything inparticular?
No way. I would have to travel a couple of hours to even get to a Target or Walmart anyway. Plus, I never do Black Friday shopping. I'm too lazy.
