Thread: OMG, my baby is using the potty!

So, we've been training Alicia. She just turned 3. We've been working on it for a while but it recently seems to have clicked, at least for pee. She hasn't pooped in the potty, but she's been sick and keeps asking too...but she's backed up... Anyhow, DJ has been very very interested in this process. We tried training Alicia last summer when she was 2, but it was a complete disaster. My Mom suggested, that since he's interested, we put him on the baby potty when Alicia is on the big one. Well, yesterday I tried it...3 pees in the potty. He was still wet between, but hey, I'll take it. Today, he was wet this morning and has peed on the potty 3 times so far, and is dry in between. He's almost 21 months old...I cannot believe he might actually be potty training. This, of course, might be a fluke....but we'll see. I'm pretty happy, but a bit sad to see how big my baby is getting!

Hope everyone has a great long weekend. Canada Day yesterday was fun, the kids really enjoyed their first ever fireworks!

That is great!!! I keep saying that I hope T is trained faster than J just for having an older role model. I do hope this is the beginning of PT for him! How wonderful for you to be working towards no diapers!
