Professional photos

I'm getting ready to do a professional photo session. I want to get the Fall colors this year. this is what I've thinking we'll wear, WDYT?

What about my shoes? I like the idea of a nude shoe, but we'll be outside and I think the heels might be a bit too much. Any other ideas for shoe options for me?

Wow! I think everything you picked out is perfect! I think even the shoes would work unless you went black.

You can put an orange or that color pink headband or bow in Ava's hair. If you want to wear jewelry I'd just do something simple. You are going to have outside colors and scenery. I don't know. I think simple can be very elegant. Smile

I agree! Some of the best pictures I have seen have been with very simple outfits! I try to always go simple with very few patterns because it seems to show up well and doesn't clash with the scenery.

This is what I was thinking too. I'd tie in your pink with her headband. As far as your jewelry I'd do something simple and not too eye catching.

That's a cool site.

Yes! Wanna fly me?! Wink

What about flats?

Are you set on the dress? The only thing I'm thinking is it looks a bit fancy with the heels compared to the other two outfits. Actually, second look and it looks good. You just want to picture every combination of taking pictures. You with Ava, with Andrew, with just DH, kids alone, DH with kids, etc. The only one I'm not picturing it with is you and Andrew. I'm totally opposite though, I would do something eye catching for jewelry with that dress. A chunky or long necklace might dress it down a bit, which is okay.

I LOVE Ava's outfit and just told a client to do that for their session Smile I can't wait for you to see this session I have brewing in my head, you're going to die.

I think all of that coordinates very well! Especially how Ava's colors match yours and Drews colors will match DH's. I think a nude shoe would be nice. How about this one?

I'm not set on anything really. I like Ava's outfit a lot- the tights expecially! I went out and got them, a headband and a hairbow that matches. Plus Drew's shirt. I did not get the vest- the smallest size Gymboree had was 2T and it was HUGE- like it could have fit me huge. So I'll look around else where. But I'm thinking it would look okay without the vest, if I can't find one.

I like that the dress for me matched Ava's tights, but I worried about it being too dressy too-expecially with heels. Myabe I can go with boots and tone down the feel a little. Or, maybe I should find a top with that color and pair it with jeans and the nude heels?

I need a personal shopper to style us!

Those shoes are cute, Kayla! And the price is right, but I have super tiny feet and the smallest they carry is a 6. Boo!

I think either dressing down the dress or dressing up jeans would work. Either way!

Sorry about the shoes. Sad I am actually going to have our Famous Footwear order those for me in my size. I will be wearing them for my friend's wedding I'm in that is in October.

Well, I bought the dress. they were running out of sizes so I snagged one before they were gone. I hope it works out.

Kristen- What kind of necklace would you wear with it?

I love the outfit choices!!! And I love that you get family photos taken. We have not had a photo taken of our family since my maternity pics. I really want to hire someone and do that!!

Ava's outfit is amazingly cute! I think Drew will look simply adorable even without the vest! As for the dress, I think it is very pretty! I would definitely find some flats to wear with it. I'd consider wearing nude or maybe a brown? As far as a necklace, I don't know that you need one, but I would consider wearing one that was either white or brown?
