Thread: Question about thank you cards....

I am sending thank you cards (from Alison, I will let her color on them) for Christmas presents that Alison received from out-of-state relatives. I have a friend IRL that states it is just silly to send a thank you card from Alison because she is too young to understand who the gift came from. I think that it is important to start the habit of sending thank you cards so that Alison learns to be gracious. What do you gals think?

I think you should definitely send the thank you cards. Parents know that little kids didn't do the card...but they also understand that you are grateful too

I think it's great! I'm actually doing the same for Aiden's birthday and Christmas gifts (still need to mail them though. Oops.). I don't think it's silly. People will know that you're grateful too and they'll get a kick out of seeing the kid's coloring.

I think it's a great idea! Having Alison add her own touch will make everyone smile. In fact, I think I need to do this. Thanks for the idea.

It's good to get those good manners in the kiddos, so it just becomes habit when it comes time for them to do things themselves.

I definitely agree that you should send them. We send them. I write the note and Jake "signs" his name.

I was working on them last night. Guess that answers that!

Thanks ladies!! I had Alison "sign" all her thank you cards last night and they went in the mail this morning!!
