What are you looking forward to for this weekend?

My kids had a mild week, but this is a cute picture from this week of Ava. Sorry it's a link. I don't know how to make it show up here from Instagram.

I am really looking forward to nice weather. This weekend it will be 60 some degrees and sunny! I have spring fever in a bad way and want to be outside!

Since we have started a trend of showing pictures, I will share a picture of something that made me laugh this week. Jordan wanted to go outside first thing in the morning. I told her she needed to eat breakfast, get a clean diaper and then get her clothes and shoes on. I guess all she heard was shoes.
One more. Here is a screen shot of the photo album on my phone.
This weekend my parents will be in town and we are all getting together on Saturday to celebrate birthdays. Jason's is three days before mine so we always celebrate them together. I picked the meal, so we are having fiesta stack ups and chocolate bundt cake. Just the thought of it is making me hungry.
I'm going to copy and paste the recipe here. We don't have this often but it's seriously delicious. The craving hit me this week so it was perfect timing to have it this weekend. Yay for being the birthday girl and getting to choose our dinner.
The first list is cooked in a crock pot -
2 lbs. Ground beef, turkey
1 medium onion
14.5 oz petite diced tomatoes
15 ox tomato sauce
12 oz tomato paste
2 T chili powder
2t cumin
1t garlic powder
2t salt
The rest is piled up on a plate in layers (Obviously, this is the recipe list. I don't think anyone would eat 12.oz of chips)-
12oz corn chips (or fritos)
cooked rice
23 oz ranch style beans
cheese for topping
sour cream for topping
black olives for topping
chopped lettuce for topping
tomatoes for topping
avocado for topping
ETA: This makes a lot. We make this when there is a large group of us getting together. I bet the meat part would freeze well so you could always cook it all and save some for later.
We're spending the weekend with my SIL's family. They just live an hour away from our new home. Since we don't get furniture till Tuesday we decided to hit them up.
Aiden mastered unzipping things and climbing up stairs this week (his first time with stairs was this week).
This is from this morning. Apparently unpacking is more fun than packing.

Something funny: Yesterday I was looking all over the house for a screwdriver. My hubby is good for leaving things in random places... Miles was helping me look. After awhile he shouted "HEY! I have a screwdriver in my room! You can use it if you want!"Thanks, but, I was thinking of a real screwdriver. lol
Something I'm looking forward to this weekend: The kids and I are going to a garage sale at a local school. It's only for kids items, we're meeting a friend and her baby (1 week older that Vivi) there. I'm excited...I've never been to a kids item only sale!
