Thread: RQ - Weekend Edition

Sorry I am a day late. Also, I never thanked everyone before. Thanks to all who posted questions in June. It was a nice break from trying to pull questions out of thin air!

When was the last time you purchased a piece of artwork? What was it?

The only thing that comes to mind is a small, personalized painting I bought online a few years ago that says "Merry Christmas from The Minters". I have quite a few large paintings in my house but they were all painted by my mom.

Actual REAL artwork? Never. Not worth it when it can be damaged or come up missing every move.
My grandmother has given both kids (yep, even Baby Girl already!) artwork from some lady in Alabama. It's not really my style, but it is nice and will be hung in their rooms after I move Aiden out of the nursery.

When was the last time you purchased a piece of artwork? What was it?

I had to look in my Etsy history because it's been awhile. The last I ordered was a Personalized Street Sign w/"Miles Dr" on it to hang in Miles' room. That was Oct 2010.

I have no idea. But I was shopping around for some this weekend. We got our floors refinished and have since given the living room a little face lift. I would like to find something nice and more personal to replace the Target picture we currently have hanging up. Our living room could use some color to liven it up.

We bought some drawings for Alicia's room of butterflies when she was 2. We are on the hunt for a painting for over our bed...we shall see how long it takes me to find the perfect one.
