RQOTD - Monday

Do you have an (or multiple) emergency phone numbers programmed into your cell phone? For if you ever needed help so that someone could easily pick up your phone and dial your dh and/or a family member?

Some people program a number and name it EMERGENCY or ICE (In case of emergency) etc.

Just something to think about. Curious who is already doing this.

Yes. Home, DH's phone number and my parent's phone number are easily accessed in my phone. Emergency is DH's phone as well.

I have a list of "favorites" that would be easy for any one to access if they have an iPhone too. I have my mom under MOM so if they just hit RECENT CALLS they would see it filling the page ROFL

I've heard you should never put your spouse under Husband or Wife or whatever because of someone stealing you phone and ...... um ...... I forget the logic behind that. LOL

I just did it right now. Thanks for sharing this idea. I listed Emergency - and my DH's name and another one with my parents name.

So I've been thinking about this....what the point of an ICE if your cell phone locks itself? No one would be able to get to my "contacts" list anyways because they wouldn't know the password.

I've thought about this but I've never heard of putting "ICE" next to contacts names. I'm going to do that. Thanks!

Nooooooo.....maybe I should.

Except I have had to passcode lock my iPhone. To protect it from Evie. *sigh*

I think it has the ability for someone to dial out an emergency call tho.....

Doesn't your phone allow you to turn off this feature? :/
