What's your fav activity to do with each of your kiddos?

That's a tough question.... there are a lot of things I love to do with both of them!

Some of my favorite activities with T include exploring outside, singing/dancing, reading stories, & playing with his cars

Some of my favorite activities with J include playing baseball, listening to him READ! (I'm so proud of his hard work!), digging for seashells at the beach, and collecting rocks/ sticks at the park

Cali- I love when Ava reads to me too! Right now, it's just because she has memorized the book, but she's starting a foundation and I love it!

I think right now my favorite thing to do wit the kids is crafts. We've been painting a lot, which they love. We've also been planting flowers and we take time to water and deadhead them everyday. The both really like playing baseball, which is lots of fun.

.

We are using the Preschool Prep program and because of it, Jake has learned 60 sight words and he is doing well with beginning phonics skills (digraphs and blends). I recently purchased the three easy reader books and it is amazing to listen to him read the sight words and sound out new words. I bet Ava would do great with this product!

I'm curious too!

I guess it seems obvious but my favorite thing to do with Nora is to feel her move. Smile I also love that Jordan wants to feel her move and will put her hands on my belly. She always gets a big smile on her face when Nora gives her a good kick.

With Jordan, I also love to hear her "read" to me. She knows some of her books well enough to do that and it is so cute. I love it when we make each other laugh, which happens a lot. I also really like being outdoors with her. She is so curious about everything and it's fun to watch her explore.

Yes, I have the box set, flash cards and books. J flew through the sight words videos and is working on the digraphs/ blends. T doesn't sit and watch TV unless he sits next to his brother for a few minutes, so I typically have the colors, numbers or letters video on for a short while in the background during playtime. Initially, we spent time each day going through all of the flashcards and once those were mastered, we moved on to the books. It's a pretty decent system that compliments well with the pre-reading skills being taught through the curriculum at J's school.
