RQOTD - Thursday

Do you plan to head out for Black Friday deals this year? Anything you'll be looking for in particular? What time will you leave your house?

Nope - I avoid public places on the day. The push and shove mentality sets me off.

We usually do black friday online and buy everything at midnight and have it all shipped to us. The past few years it has worked out perfectly for us.

I am planning on going out this year since I'll be in the land of good shopping! Not really looking for any particular deal, but I always have a list of things I'm looking for at a certain price. If I find something great, if not that's fine too. I won't head out till after Aiden is up and has his breakfast. I do plan on bringing him with me, but he'll be in a carrier the whole time I'm out.

No. Sad I want to experience the crazy but DH worked retail through college at an electronic store, so he refuses to have any part of Black Friday. Maybe some day I'll get brave and go alone or drag a friend or sister.

Heck No! Although, Walmart is opening at 10 on Thursday, so I might get brave. I doubt it though. I don't trust people on Black Friday. People get crazy and I don't want any part of that. Give me leftover yummies, my PJs, and some good movies and I am happy. Biggrin

That would be VERY brave! I'm not tough enough for Walmart on a regular day! Wink

I've never participated in Black Friday. My dad lives for that sort of thing and so one year we had him snag a grill for us. Smile I would much rather be warm in my bed than get up before the crack of dawn to face crowds of unruly bargain shoppers. Even if they aren't unruly, I'd still rather sleep.

Jenn, that's a good idea! I will have to keep that in mind this year. Online shopping sounds like much more fun.

No such thing here! I did go to one midnight madness event when Alicia was a baby and will never ever go to such a thing again. Lots of pushing and shoving.

True dat! I once went to WalMart alone at midnight to try to buy an XBOX36 for Jus when we were dating and they first came out (you know how you do dumb stuff when you are trying to impress a guy?). I was scared to death - odd people out at that time of night. Oh, and FWIW, I was #15 in line and they only had 13 systems, BOO!

Ha, ha, Jenn! The things you do for love!

That story is equal parts awesome (because I can totally see it!) and sucky (because I can totally see it!). Wink

I might go out. It depends on whether or not I find anything in the sale ads on Thanksgiving Smile Before kids, I used to go every year. Since kids, I've gone shopping, but not until later in the morning.
